^Pretty much.
Though at least this time most of the choices didn't make me go "Umm, what...?" :P
I never touched Runescape, and while I like ESO and GW2's quests, I still find SWTOR's superior.
Mine would be:
1) SWTOR.
2) TSW.
3) ESO.
4) GW2.
5) Neverwinter.
ESO and GW2 may swap spots, not all that sure about which one's better.
My SWTOR referral link for those wanting to give the game a try. (Newbies get a welcome package while returning players get a few account upgrades to help with their preferred status.)
It has tragic moments, Comedy moments, dramatic moments, treasons etc. Neither of these games has these, TSW excepted.
Again:
WHERE IS SWTOR???
Since GW2 is mandatory in every list, even 'top 5 first person shooters', something had to be scrapped. Sorry bro.
Hmm, I think Neverwinter takes that spot actually.
Can't bite the hand that feeds you, and I've seen Neverwinter banners plenty of times on this site.

If you include games like Runescape or Neverwinter but not SW:TOR in this list I have to either question your judgement severely or deduce that you haven't played that game.
Sure, the story in TOR is cheesy, but it's miles better than what is available in those games. For my part, it's also miles ahead of ESO, which trades cheesiness for massive amounts of meaningless lore.
Feel free to use my referral link for SW:TOR if you want to test out the game. You'll get some special unlocks!
Is Neverwinter that good? I've not played it much, but I didn't notice the quests leaping out at me. Though it has a very different modular approach rather than open world.
LOTRO could just about make it. The quests are often kill quests, but there's a huge attention to detail, and a massive storyline that's very carefully developed.

I also find the inclusion of Neverwinter slightly odd, particularly given that DDO's quests (for me) were significantly better.
Even if a game has great quest. The sheer amount of quest take away the joy of what a quest once was. Epic, rare, and great rewards. Now, they are a grind that we click our way through until max level.

Not necessarily. In LOTRO I use an experience disabler so I can go through the quests at a very slow pace, and I enjoy reading all the little stories around them.
People who say Guild Wars 2's story quests are bad, well you're right. But we're not just talking about the main story here. There is something called living story in Guild Wars 2. And even the first season is not a spot on, season 2 is basically amazing. Story telling, quests, cutscenes are seriously great. Please stop judging mmos that you didn't play recently. We're not talking about sp games here. Mmorpg is a genre which always evolves. Even you stop playing an mmo, it won't stop growing and evolving as time goes by...
SWTOR main quests are good, but all the others are beyond boring. A bit of voice-over doesn't make a quest good, gameplay is very important as well...which is why GW2 is high up, LOTS of variation in those quests.
But honestly, make that list: "Top 1000", put the first 4 at the 999-998 mark and TSW at 1...with nothing in between. That's how large the gap is.
Come on, it may still be cool to hate on swtor but it has one of the best questing of what is out there. And GW2 doesn't even has the satisfaction of quest storylines (aside from whatever you may think of the game). I certainly don't agree on those points.
'The Secret World', yes. NPC are much more individuals then in any other MMORPG. Actually, TSW quests feels a bit like... well, quest. I mean game genre. Or adventure, depends on a mission. But story is so alive that I must confess I rarely did anything beside quests.
The op has no clue, it is obvious that SWTOR, TSW and ESO have the best quests , perhaps one or two steps behind would be LOTRO , perhaps STO and for the fun of it the first 20 levels of AOC
tsw might not have been my cup o'tea but it damn sure deserves the top spot on this list.
i'd have included SWTOR and EQ1 (for the original particle weapon "epic weapon quests" and the dungeon unlock quests) over GW2 and runescape. possibly ddo over neverwinter but perhaps that is just my preference for turbine over PW.
RIP Ribbitribbitt you are missed, kid.

I love NWO, it's the only MMO I am currently playing, and I have no idea what it is doing in this list. I guess there are some good Foundry quests out there... but I hardly ever do Foundry quests. The main storyline is full of wasted opportunities and shear nonsense.
For instance, there's a plague of undead in the Neverdeath cemetery. Why does Neverwinter have a cemetery, given how common undead are, why not cremate everybody? If there must be a cemetery, why is it inside the city walls? If the dead rise, why must we deal with it at night, why not put up some barricades and wait for morning? No, none of these questions are answered.
That dealt with, now some devils have taken over Helm's Hold. So we go there and devils are rampaging everywhere. Imagine how much more interesting it would be if we had gotten there before the devils began openly running the town. We would be walking the streets, mingling with the people, trying to uncover a diabolical conspiracy.
Anyway, I agree with other posters, put SW:TOR in the list. The class stories were the only good thing about that game. The quests offered surprises, plot twists, and epic showdowns.
As flawed as SWTOR is, the questing is pretty good. It is better than at least half the list. I do agree though that TSW is the standard bearing when it comes to MMO questing.
Never played Runescape either. My list would include SWTOR and LOTRO. In fact, the reason I stopped playing SWTOR is because they stopped the class quest lines. In other words, the only reason I was playing SWTOR was because of the excellent class story lines.
For shear volume of quality quests, I think it's hard to beat LOTRO. Yeah, there are some poorly implemented ones, but my gosh it has a lot of content. And well written.

ESO quests are great. Next to the Secret World and Star Wars the Old Republic their quests are some of the best around.
I'll also throw in a vote for earlier Lord of the Rings Online quests.

EQ: best epic quests
SWTOR: best class quests
TSW: quests with a special flavor
rest: mediocre up to bad quests. Why: Can't even remember most of them, that's why.
