That article basically says - I found the game terrible until I met some people who showed me a few things. We laughed together at the jankiness.  Then I used my imagination to add in all the missing bits of the game and WOW it's going to be incredible!

Yep, played the free fly week event a little while back. Its complete and total crap. It didn't even uninstall correctly!! All it did was remove the program from the list and left the 30+gig install directory intact.

Here is the print screen after i uninstalled showing the game directory still in place after uninstalling.

Now now you know they are really busy making this game, they don't really have the time to make an uninstall for it.

There are quite a few Voice Attack profiles for Star Citizen.

HEh, that's nothing what game was it a couple years ago that attempted to erase your whole C/drive if you used it's uninstall feature? Heroes and Generals?

Hmm, i dunnno, but I know early in EvEs infancy there was an update or something like that wrote to the windows XP boot.ini prevent the OS to boot on the next start up.

A Star Citizen backer metrics picture has appeared (what percentage of backers has which pledge package).  I have no idea if its accurate - you have to decide for yourself. Personally i am in the Rear Admiral slot with my Constellation. The "total 49.1 K" probably means its a bit older, but perhaps the relative percentages still apply.

ok NOW I have become insulted.

Elite Dangerous is not only a space sim but its a good space sim and its a space sim that has been created and expanded on in less time than SC has and very close to the same quality as well.
