    I have a life, a job, friends, I go out and party like normal socially ept teenagers, I'm a surfer competing in local ESA contests around here, but when I go home and sit down to play a game. I like to have fun. Blowing up a nuke in the middle of Club Elite and watching as 50 sexless nerds fly across the map while watching some e-strippers on a pole is priceless. I was seriously in tears the first time I did it. Then all the hate tells saying I'm going to get banned. That is how those games are fun.

    Its not a cult. Thank the heavens you can't build bombs in There! Thank you! I would not want you blowing up places and harassing members. You did the wrong thing and I am so glad you were banned. Now if I ever go i'll know I won't get blown up.

    MMORPG's not designed to be competetive ??

    Maybe in your alternate reality they werent, but in this life they most definately ARE!

    How do you explain the rush to be the first person to do the following in every MMO.

    • Hit the level Cap
    • Explore the deepest dungeons
    • Have the best house
    • Have the best and most loot
    • Have the rarest weapons
    • Make the biggest guild
    • Be part of the biggest guild
    • Be the best PvPer

    Man thats what I could think of in 30 seconds... if I decided to really condsider it I think I could fill a page.

    How do you explain RvR, PvP and challenges like RYL's million dollar challenge ?

    In There people love to compete. They want to have the biggest company or club. They want to have the highest paint ball rating or the highest racing rating. Maybe even get legendary in event hosting. I have that! Thats what people compete for in There.

    Ok back on topic. Still no one has given me a real answer to why people don't like There so much. I really didn't know my topic would be hijacked. Guess thats what ya get for brining up an important topic around people who don't deserve There.

    because its all about interests. some ppl like randomly killing stuff, some ppl like building stuff, some ppl like questing, others like crafting. The majority prefer questing and killing stuff and lvling up, the minority however, are the ones who like building and chatting a crafting. There just doesnt appeal to most gamers out there

    Ok I absolutely never post on this site. I come regularly to read all the posts but I never take the time to put my 2 cents in, BUT in this case I just have to. These threads Joel posts have me cracking up over and over. I'm getting a load of laughs. I have trouble believing Joel is really like this. IMHO he seems to try and come off sincere with his opinions of "There" but it can't be for real. Any person with half a brain knows that they are ticking people off. There is no way this guy doesn't see what he is doing. Now while he may retort that he is simply "pouring his heart out" about the game, any person with an IQ high enough to get to this website knows that there is a certain extent to which you should express your feelings on a game, especially when you have already recieved an overwhelming amount of NEGATIVE responses and LOCKED THREADS. If you can delve into the idea of this game's potential and how you feel its necessary for people to be informed about it, you should also be able to delve into the idea that people have their own opinions of what they want in a game. And you got your responses not many here seem to jump at the idea of your "amazing" game, despite its "ground-breaking" features and events that you have described. You already know this though man, its obvious you've made enough threads to figure that out. And reading the topic of this thing, shows flamebaiting to me. You have to be EXTREMELY IGNORANT not to know why people don't like or would enjoy the game. No game is perfect buddy, and no game appeals to all. You seem to only respond to flames in a calm and sincere manner that seems fake to me after all of what you have done. You know whats up, stop acting.

    Anyways thats all for me. Don't expect another post for weeks upon months.

    Yes you can, but I warn you that be careful who you do it to. Some might file a report on you. You'd have to make sure they understand there is a possibilty you might get run over while playing the game.

    So see how There is not totally worthless even to those who might not appriate all it has to offer. You could build the MMORPG of your dreams in There and then invite people to play it. Maybe even give out money for those who have the highest scores or something. I'm not ignoring your posts.

    I'm sure you could make a game better then Mourning. Using the first person view in There you could make a FPS style game. Or maybe using the arial view you could create a WoW style game. All you need is some 3D modeling skills and your set.
