AMD just dropped their prices because NVIDIA was spanking them pretty hard. That doesn't sound good.
Are you aware that 2 of those 3 statements are completely subjective?
They dropped their price by 10$ for each of the rx cards. NVIDIA did a good move by making their midrange budget cards which ended up clamping down on AMD and making them squirm. A lot of people thought NVIDIA was just gonna sit on their hands and wait for this to ride out. Instead they did something about it.
Ok so your stance is that Nvida lowered their price a little and that is "spanking them hard" Then AMD lowered their price too and this "doesn't look good"

Really fil you are too biased in this matter.
I didn't say nvidia lowered their prices. They came out with a midrange card to stop AMD from taking that market by force. And its working because now AMD has had to lower their prices to counter nvidia's move. Corporations at war.

Yeah but you are even saying it yourself. Nvidia did this to "stop AMD from taking that market" it's a completely normal reaction. And AMD is lowering the price as answer which is also a completely normal reaction.
I don't understand why you feel this regular back and forth between the companies is beneficial to Nvidia and harmful to AMD.

Because nvidia's move is a smart one. AMD's move is yet to be determined and many think it was a bad one. They really have to do something here they lost too much money last quarter and Nvidia isn't letting them just get up.

But , wait , arent you the same guy in another thread telling people to BUy AMD @ 7.00 because by next qtr it would be 10.00..................... lol yea that was you ..

And it will. The process we are discussing now is its longterm value. And its like common knowledge that AMD got the apple contract. Another thing that is happening their gpu's are using much more power then they anticipated. Which isn't a good thing at all.
Please keep on doing it, your posts are so informative and valuable in this discussion.
Really? The third time? I should scroll up more often. Oh, and thanks for the kudos; I don't even try, really, it just comes naturally.
But anyway, they do suck pretty bad, especially if you want to retro game and use emulators. If you're into emulation at all you can cross AMD off your list unless you enjoy headaches.
I have never had a problem with emulation using AMD. Recently I have had more issues with Nvidia.
ther are difinitely not millions of people using the rofl its a small niche community that wants to make itself important with statements like yours lol
im not really sure whats going on in your head, but...Earth is calling you back lol
I wonder how powerful those new cards are.
To me everything operating under 35W sounds like AMD is abandoning the high-end notebook graphic card market to NVidia for this generation, and instead aims at the gap between Intel's integrated graphics and NVidia's desktop GPUs in mobile form factor.
It might not be a bad decision. They'll probably be able to use the same technology in their mobile APUs.
But hey if you insist that the problems with your emulation are based on AMD drivers then I should probably fiddle around with mine until it crashes just to prove you right.
Either that or I will just guess your problems are coming from another source.
I hated how your characters just sat there and wouldn't react to anything unless told. At least the archers shot at things in range. At least I think they did.
look at most selling games on GoG rofl you are SO deluded aahhahahahahahaha
I have. Have you? The Forgotten Realms Archive in the #10 and #12 spots. Or the Darksun Series at #14? Krynn series comes in at #19. All DOS games.
I guess you weren't aware of the popularity. You're welcome.
Give me one single DOS game in first 100 that is curretnly NOT on sale lol
Why does that even matter? if you removed all the games that were on sale, then a good many other games would be removed also, the point is, that they are being bought, and they are popular.

I am going to wait on the 490 to see whats up and figure out what to buy then.

i really wonder sometimes in what parallel universe you guys live in rofl
2,000,000 downloads per year. Not bad for an old program that shouldn't even be around any more.
