I've had limited time in the new content. That's because I decided to level a Nightborne. Around the 60s atm. Can't wait to check out the expansion once I'm able.
"I will say this for those who worried about my love of followers and missions: they’re definitely downplayed this expansion. They help with Azerite Power collection, gold and reputation gains, but that’s basically it. They are not very necessary to keep tabs on at all in order to progress the content."
Please remove it. We dont need mini games. Better use development resources to improve the main features.
I would also like Flying to be removed from BfA contents. World feel alive again (after so long) and world pvp just got more interesting. I think Flying for previous expansions is fine but for latest one, lets not have it.
You war mode folks are welcome to walk...have fun with that...rest of us look forward to earning and enjoying our flying.
I think level scalling is the most disastrous idea for level based games, completely negates the sense of progression and also trivializes the relative importance of regions. Would much better fit a single player RPG where the goal is to give a believable environment for the story that unfolds. But to each his own I guess.
why is heroic dungeons still a thing? normal and heroic is pretty much the same the only difference is heroics require you to be max level. they already added mythic which they keep trying to force on us with story progression tied to it.(didn't work in legion so why would it work now?)
anyway there's no need for 3 difficulties when 2 are pretty much the same and the third one scales upward.
Heroic are harder than Normal for one thing lol...
since when? all you do is run in and aoe stuff down as fast as possible same as in normals. if there's a difference in mechanics i sure haven't noticed any.
Scaling is a answer to MMO problems like zones which you never use because you out levelled them, but it creates as many problems like this idea you are not levelling in a levelling game. I am sitting on the zone fence for this one.

ESO did it right. It can work when you have sufficient horizontal progression, so you still have a sense of progression when leveling through the zones...any zone.
Blizzard has dumbed down WoW to such extremes over the years, that they practically eliminated any sense of progression in this last expansion due to the way they implemented level scaling.
There is no horizontal progression anymore in WoW. No new talents. No new skills. Azerite armor very underwhelming. That is why the level scaling is falling apart now in WoW.

Is this just part of making the game even more easymode, which every MMO seems to do but call it "streamlining"? They loose sight of the fact that with less and less complexity you have less and less gameplay.
I was in ESO myself, had no gameplay issues with zone progression, except that when considering roleplaying there is no way my avatar would have got involved in most of the quests he did in the other starter areas.

I had fun once, it was terrible.
