I guess your bet does not make it well managed either.
....where did I claim it is well managed or anything of such sort?
You said that "it isnt mismanaged...". You do not know that just like the other guy doesnt know it is mismanaged.
Except it is, former employees say as much....
"Forbes spoke to 20 people who used to work for Cloud Imperium,
many of whom depict Roberts as a micromanager and poor steward of
resources. They describe the work environment as chaotic. "
“As the money rolled in, what I consider to be some of [Roberts’] old
bad habits popped up—not being super-focused,” says Mark Day, a producer
on Wing Commander IV who runs a company that was contracted to do work on Star Citizen
in 2013 and 2014. “It had got out of hand, in my opinion. The promises
being made—call it feature creep, call it whatever it is—now we can do
this, now we can do that. I was shocked.”
Nah I'm stating that in a business as fickle and unpredictable as game development, gamers ,specially those who invest in crowdfunded games, need to be prepared to adjust their expectations accordingly.
Holding grudges and nurturing frustrations because of missing estimates in a video-game showcases lack of maturity and knowledge to deal with crowdfunding and game development.
Which is why big studios are so adamant of developing in secrecy.
BULLSHIT. Companies need to examine their processes and make sure they produce a product or they don't make money. Auto manufacturers do it, pharmaceuticals do it, all companies do it BUT CROWDFUNDED games. Why?
In this case the product is the people who actually invested money and there is nothing coming out from that.
Secrecy comes from protecting IP (Intellectual Property) not development. If you don't understand that then you shouldn't be investing your money. I mean, you don't know the recipe for Coca Cola. Only 3-4 people do know that recipe and that is the companies IP. If you don't understand the difference, then it is your loss.

No. You said we should have known that all of these Crowdfunded games miss their dates to which I pointed out that you were using hindsight. Back in 2012 most people believed what developers said. We now know that they are all incompetent or liars.
The only lack of maturity comes from someone who won’t acknowledge that.
