Been watching game plays.  Somewhat reminds me of a standard RPG like Fallout and a hyper graphic quality of Grand Theft Auto.  
good or bad, what do you think ?

This site may have saved my life,
Because I was typing for a long time back in April, I had my first seizure.  Got my first MRI and they found the tumor early and removed it 100%.

If I have not been typing, they may not have found it so quickly. by far not out of the woods but it helped

It actually runs well on my computer. I haven't really seen any bugs but I'm only an hour into it so I suspect they will surface.

I'm also taking my time, exploring all the places I can, reading all those little news things left around.

I do think you are correct, rushing through might not be an awesome way to experience the game though I imagine that's a part of it and they probably already knew people would just rush through the story.

I dunno - I am near the end of the main quest line and I am not finding hardly any characters that i care about all that much. The storyline didn't blow me away either.

It all feels sort of safe - thought the game would be way more controversial but it really isnt.

Maybe they saw how much money they were putting in it and made it "safe" so they could get more buyers.

Though, the GTA games aren't "safe" and they seem to be popular. No idea.

It's more than my computer could handle most likely, and would definitely take up more storage space than I'd be willing to allow it.

Cyber Knights: Flashpoint would probably be more suited to my taste anyway so I'd be more inclined to give that a go.

Just finished Outer Worlds not too long ago. I’ll probably pick this up in a year or so on sale if the reviews are good. Looks right up my alley.

Does it have a difficulty scale maybe try turning up the difficulty if you want more of a challenge.  I will agree with you though if other specialization are pointless to use that would be dissappointing.

Yes it does - I am playing on hard

There is easy, normal, hard and very hard. 

I am thus far very underwhelmed by this title. I am taking my time, exploring and I find it just boring. As someone pointed out, trying to finesse your way through the game won't work, it's guns or nothing, controls feel clunky and unintuitive, character customization is lacking, all in all, a very uninspired and very boring game - To me. Others may love it, but I find it run of the mill and clunky.

I'm loving it. It's running surprisingly well for me. Ryzen 1600, 2060 Super, Ultra preset with raytracing, motion blur and chromatic aberration turned off at 1440p.

Can't wait to play it more later today.

- Ultra runs good on current gen hardware (no RTX)
- Not made for as many people as possible
- Mature with lots of swearing
- Expertly written
- UI matches the game world but could have been clearer
- Hacking controls are clumsily on default
- Tight controls
- 100% made for first person

Just my impressions from the first two hours.

Been in a bit see no reason for 1st pp only

The game didn’t need to be first person, but when they made it so they designed a lot around it.

The hud is a literal representation of what V sees.
Passing out, falling, drinking effects etc The entire world of NPCs is modelled around you being a first person representation. There is no way you could mod it into third person without rebuilding a large part of the actual game.

I could even go a bit meta and say the first person decision is also about the general theme of what it takes to be human or not and how the lines blur with electronics, digital experiences, being in control, agency etc.

Well ok the 10 hours I have been in it I see no reason for 1pp only, the "phone" could be an actual phone and not just a pop up on upper right side of screen.
Maybe you got farther in 2 hours than I have in 10.

The other stuff like the lower left showing what to press for health item, grenade and how many I have of each and what to press to call car or right side showing weapon equipped and how much ammo I have, I see it just as any other hud.

If I have a rifle in my hand, I dont need lower side to tell me I have a rifle in my hand and items could still have slots with number amounts held in 3rd person perspective.

If there really is some stuff that totally requires 1st person only they could make it like DEHR where its 1st pp then switches to 3rd pp when in cover, i.e. when totally need 1st pp you go to 1st pp. I still see nothing that couldnt happen in 3rd pp though.

IRL I can look down just a little and see my chest and what shirt I am wearing, in game look down and you only see from waist down so really no point in collecting a large wardrobe either the way it is.

Like I said, it could definitely have been done in third person. But when they made the decision to go first person they didn’t just change the camera perspective, they modelled the game around it. That is why I say they can’t just detach the camera through a mod and call it a day, that won’t work.

All of this is just my opinion btw, I have no problem with others not agreeing or making a case for the opposite. I didn’t get far in these two hours, I am a sucker for detail and CP2077 has so much of it I have barely reached V’s apartment lol.
