    EQ2 simply because it would be out first and probably be running for close to a year before WoW comes out .

     I think WoW will be better but since eq2 will be out sooner it will be more popular. Unless WoW releases an open beta soon which they said they would (Q4).

    I agree, I will probably end up trying EQII just because it comes out first and depending on how much I like it  will determine when I look into WoW.

    Holy Crap!!  Did they really say WoW would take this longer to be out?

    My vote is for WoW simply because I didn't get in on EQ's first game, so alot of people who will be going from EQ to EQ II will have a jump on somethings.  I'd rather just start fresh on WoW.

     They never said wow won't be out for 12-15 months, that was just an estimate he made since everyone knows blizzard always hold back games. But their already in alpha and they have so much things accomplished, i don't think it should take them too long, if their smart their release the beta before eq2 releases, should drive ALOT more people to WoW. And I think WoW will have a more friendly enviroment, people will be too busy leveling and stuff in eq2, i just have a hunch that WoW will be more of a social type game.

     No i don't know. EQ2's graphics look like clay though.

    I will be trying Final Fantasy, Dark and Light, Horizons, WoW and EQ2

    I will play whichever one holds my intrest. I think it will be Horizons or DnL from what i read (if its true)

    It's this allot like saying HL2 or Doom 3? "Return of the king" or "Episode 3"  None of them are released yet, how can you expect anyone to know anything about them?

    well i know that when trailers are showed..they show the best...

    but i mean...u can tell by EQII trailers that its gonna be a great gameimage

     Hehe no it isn't Lineage has 60 %. Sometimes Murt your expectations are too high for eq2 and don't consider that not everyone will like that game.

    IM GONNA FLAME SOOOO HARD

     

    Ok WoW is all based on the franchise. It is for pure WC fanboys. It is a EQ clone too. Same engine! 9 character classes? PUHleeze! The graphics are too "3D" and are bland. The items are ridicculus. The items are strait out of the game. It has NO originality over WC. The mining and lumber system will also be similar to EVE....yes you will spend time gathering recources. The oh so few quests are basicly kill tasks and the group system is oddly unfluffy to WC as the developers are copying and pasting. Team up will enemy races? BAH! The game will lag a ton since it is sooo overly detailed with trees and mountains and bogs. This will also make the traveling limited. The skill system is also very small. The skils you start out with are what you end with, except they are more powerful. Don't get me wrong, Blizzard will make a ton of money of this game.image
