I greatly enjoy being a frontlines melee character that uses brute force, and since the Orcs have been said to gain much increased muscle mass and whatnot visually as they become stronger/lvl up I think I will be an Orc. lol I just think they will look the most badass in the end as a melee type character.
Human probably a melee/tank type. One of the good guys. In every MMORPG with healthy pvp all the 3l33t pkaaaayyyy's run off and join the "bad guys" (WoW horde, SWG Empire hey when it was healthy, SB Chaos/oblivion etc) I dont want to spend my time pk'ing a bunch of rp'ers the folks that generaly choose the good guys. So I always choose the good guys cause I have a target rich environment of people that are hella fun to hunt!

The poll seems to be leaning very far towards the Armies of Destruction. In other fantasy MMORPGs, aren't the "good guys" usually more popular? Why do you think the poll favors the dark armies, is it because the people who are following the game already are experienced/fanatical mmorpgers who are more likely to choose the dark armies than say some person who doesn't know about the game until they see it on the shelf?

I'm pretty divided. The bad guys will probably look cooler (God grant Mythic doesn't make the Empire completely boring), but from the looks of it the good guys are going to be in short supply, and I hate too much imbalance. Right now I'm just waiting for more info to come out on the other races. Between the orcs and dwarves, I'd choose orcs just because they've got more style, but with the other match-ups I'm just waiting to see what they come up with. Played lizardmen on the tabletop. The slann will kick anyone's butt, but that's not an option so...
What you're not factoring here is the general public. In most games, the fanbase is usually very much in favor of the evil forces, and then you have the people who find the game on a store shelf and think "Hmm, this looks cool.". It's usually those people who roll the goody-goody sides, and there are a lot more of them than us, sorry to say.
It's ugly, but true. You've got to appeal to a Wal-Mart shopper than real MMO players to sell more copies. It's sad, I know.

I'm going to be chaos thats for sure. I just hope they don't have the annoying evil NPCs. With the "Go to hell" or whatevers else. I know we're evil, but there is a limit to how much I want to hear it. (Outside of battle calls)

I like the movie that has the warrior priest about to do battle with the Chaos warrior... and since they are using Tzeentch, which is the lamest of the Chaos gods (I used to play the wargame like 5 years ago), I'll go for Empire. Plus when I used to play I played as Empire and had lots of fun with that.

From what I read on the site the clasees are differnt for each race, but in the same way they have been built in a really cool way. Its not like the other MMOs were any race can be any class the Race grants special bonuses to each class they can be.

I think WAR will be the exact opposite than WoW in terms of balance.
Most player will go to the "dark" side, which also means that you will find most noobs and ars...not so nice people there.
