But not once did I think about all the credits I built up now useless... or all the great weapons that are just as good as a CDEF.. or how I can't decorate my home any further... or how my friends have left. I didn't even factor that in ONCE.
And I still couldn't stand it.
It was bad enough seeing half my gun collection be useless after the CU... the nge might have made me throw my monitor through the wall.

There are still tons of quests to do from level 30+. I would love to see a list of quests that are "broken".
Mate, your statement doesnt make much sense, clearly you didnt understand what he was saying, the game above level 30 doesnt have quest content with experience points rewards, so the only way to level up is grinding, plus, if you wish to do quests that reward experience points, you will have to buy the latest expansion, only then can you level up to the level cap, even so, doing all the quests in mustafar will not get you even close to the cap... as such, high level players are forced to grind yet again, problem is, the experience from killing mobs at that level is very very low and its very hard to find adequate mobs, wich by the way, are impossible to even remotly solo since the NGE.

No I understand. What I'm saying is that members of my PA have only encountered one and I repeat ONE borked quest, which didn't yield exp. but was still completed and with rewards. So I would like to see a list of what quests work and what ones don't.
I still dont understand, do you mean the quests in mustafar, the low level quests? those wield experience, but there are little to no quests above cl 30, and those that exist, were not modified when nge was launched, as such, they dont give exp or the type of rewards of the low level quests (NGE).

All quests from level 30 up. I would love to know what ones are perfect to completely borked. And as I said members of my new PA have said that yes they do give exp and only one they have found does not. How much exp is another story, I would like to see something concrete.

To add new chat tabs, right click the top right of the chat box and click "Add New Tab". To modify the tab and change what shows on it, double click the tab. You have 6 different tool bars which you can access by using CTRL + TAB. You can also assign each toolbar its own keystroke in the keymap (CTRL + F1, etc used to be the default and thats how I have mine set. Should be under the UI tab and Toolbar Pane 1, etc) so you can get directly to the toobar you want. Not exactly sure what you mean on window lock? If you mean releasing the mouse, press Alt and you have free movement of it.
As for content past lvl 30, my assumption is that Publish 26 will address this. My guess is they'll make the Kashyyyk quests also give XP, and they start at around lvl 30ish right up to 80.
90% is a fairly large estimate, I would think it'd be much lower then that, probably more closer to 50% if not lower based on what I've seen on my server
Afraid thats not working for me .... and many other members telling me that we are stuck with one chat window .... which is lame! Otherwise, enjoying the NGE!
ALL the Mustafar quests give XP. People in my (and now Anarchy's lol) guild have reached 90 (from 80) by finishing all the quests on Mustafar. The only condition is you had to have started the Mustafar quests after the NGE, unfortunately most people with the expansion had already done alot of quests before the NGE hit, like me However, we found another repeatable quest last night that gives 100k XP and you only need to kill 2 things, and I'm not posting what it is to avoid nerfage

No. It'll probably be due to the rewards you get, some of them could be overpowering if you had more then one and I'm sure WS's won't be too happy with double the amount of loot weapons on the market

I dont believe that it was said that all the quest where broken, and at least in my post I commented that they where lagged/bugged, it actually depends on what days you hit them if they work or not. Also I have spent most of my time on Mustafar so the actual smoothness of the game on the lower level planets I cant speak to. Also in Obrack's post, hes refering to a quest being subject to "nerfage" in itself proves some of my comments to how SOE is dealing with the game at this moment. We all know some people like this game the way it has been incarnated this time. But to say that what someone else comments on is not true simply because they dont agree with you is what can be termed "blind". I believe there is truth in both sides of this issue and it has been said here. But someone that hasnt played through several years of the things that have happened does not have the same vision as someone just starting out. A customer that feels he hasnt recieved his value of investment is never going to agree with someone that hasnt invested the same amount of money. Vets cling to the game that was, noobs love the game that is, nothing can change the viewpoint of either. I have played for over 2 years, I continue to play but I will not say everything is "sunshine and clovers" from where I stand. But I will continue for what Anarchy has said, our PA's and friends is the main reason I play, but if I find something else I will move on. I wont make "hate" post but I also dont have the loyalty that I once had.

But, you never know what to beleive, as i am not the biggest soe fan... anywho, I went to walmart yesterday and grabbed this game, comming to my surprise at only 20$!!I start it up after patching and whatnot, and i must say, I had a Really good time. I made myself a Rodian Bounty Hunter and have been enjoying these quests, and the space missions.. Omg they are fun (cept for the traveling part). Anywho from what i have seen so far, and from leaving the first station finally, this is a very good and entertaining game!I plan to keep with this game, but I am worried as I read there is no more content after level 30? well I really hope thats not true.. but i really have no idea what to beleive, after hearing how bad and terrable this game is, and having such a good time playing it.. who knows what will come.Anywho thats just my input so far, and i want to thank ppl like Anarchyart for making a different stand and pulling my interest, leading me to try it for myself.
Well I am glad you feel you are getting your moneys worth out of it. In time I think you will probably see what everyone talking about as the game starts falling apart quickly once you actually learn the game more and understand how the system works. The bugs will get more and more apparent too you as time goes on.
However if you enjoy it, play it.

That goes along with everything I have heard as well. However I don't feel its right that the only way you can gain experience now at any reasonable amount is by buying the newest expansion. Access to the new lands, fine I shouldn't get it if I don't pay. However it seems all too planned and intentional that only mustafar is giving proper experience at this point.

I wasn't referring to the quests that are there. Yes, in general they aren't bugged these days. The point was that from level 30 to the high 70's (and beyond if you don't own ToOW) there is no NGE other than the combat system, hence the game is broken.
The NGE was surposed to turn SWG into a quest based game, in its current state it has failed because for 40(ish)+ levels there is no way to level other than slowly by grinding. Granted SoE will address this with time, but it taking time for a game that has been out for more than two years is not acceptable. SWG is in its worse state since launch, simply because what content is there does not even address half the levels a player needs to cover. They should have waited until they had a complete game before pushing it live.

At the current rate of their patches and how much they actually get right per patch you might be waiting awhile on that rest of the content. And if its anything like the content we have gotten so far, its not going to be very impressive. I give redneckified Han Solo 2 thumbs up though, nice work SOE!

As someone who pre-ordered the expansion I feel somewhat satisfied that not only does ToOW provide fun quests to do, but there's also a practical reason for having it. For the first time since JTL, we have an expansion that actually helps towards expanding your character. I don't think it was planned as such though, simply ToOW was being made at the same time the NGE was so they made it to work in the NGE. Saves them having to re-do it again later like they are with Kashyyyk.

I didn't by it because I felt it was just yet another Clone tie-in product that added nothing to the current game. I am still waiting for promised content from the original 3 movies to get put in yet they had time to develop mustafar and give us that "jedi-ish" expansion.
That's the reason I didn't buy it, I may buy it in the future I don't know. I have no care for the game or the its consistency at all at this point and am solely playing it because its free to me. The day I decide EQ II no longer is worthy of my money SWG is gone with it.
They got their experience nerf in they tried to get in once before and now they can keep selling expansions that will make easy leveling. They did it with EQ 1 and now they are doing it with this to an even higher new level. I am sorry but I have to beleive it was intentional, their track record makes it obvious. They will probably pull back abit now to quell what community they still have, but that would explain why the nerf was so severe, so when they fix it they have their original outline for experience gain back and they get to look like the good guys. Gas industry does the same thing, jack it way up, bring it halfway back down and everyone shuts up. They know exactly what they are doing in THIS one aspect of things I feel.

Speak for yourself and let everyone else speak for themselves as well. I see you throw this out in thread after thread quickly dismiss it, following it with how much fun your having.
Well congratulations, your having fun. Go have fun.

So would I, to bad Thunderheart won't lift his lazy hand and actually type it after having all the players report them.

No I understand. What I'm saying is that members of my PA have only encountered one and I repeat ONE borked quest, which didn't yield exp. but was still completed and with rewards. So I would like to see a list of what quests work and what ones don't.
*EDIT* RotW quests do not yield XP.
