I disagree with the review, but dont think its paid for by SOE or Lucas, etc. Its to be expected that some people must like the NGE and it goes without saying that some of those people might be writers and editors of gaming magazines.
So not every good review is fraudulent, Still about 10% of people "according to gamespot" think SWG is perfect which is about 1 great review to about 9medium to bad reviews. So it falls in line demographically.

I didn't say it sucked, I merely said I cannot understand how you can give an actualy bug WARNING in a review and then follow it with an 84%. That is the part that makes me feel it isn't an accurate review and the warning was merely placed there to placate the unhappy masses and save them some grief emails while TRYING to appear to be offering a balanced review.

I have to agree that 84% is not and never should have been SWG rating as the game is buggy now as it was 2 years ago ,slighly less but still very buggy.
But funny that before jedis became a starting class not many seems tyo care.Kind of reminds me (yes i say it again and again) of when some of us tried to push SoE to fix the bugs and classes and they just tossed the now infamous jedi cookie and ppl flooded back into the game without mentioning the bugs.
Now it gets mentioned a lot it seems as if people " suddenly" remember the bugs.It is sad that the game has many exisiting bugs(and been back to test it only a few days) from 2 years ago yet the jedi crazed community never spammed here about it till now.
I was just sent a personal e-mail from a SWG moderator on another forum site and that mod has informed me that the SOE 15 day trial to grab new users has, and I quote, "Not worked as they had hoped."
SOE and Lucas Arts can pay anyone they like to give them grand reviews, but the game now suxxors. SWG is a great example of why you need the management to understand and enjoy the type of gaming they represent.
The only gaming Torres likes seems to be in Smedley's pants.

Because we happen to like each other, we pass info back and forth, and we both dislike the NGE.

One thing has never changed with SOE though, they still worship there Everquest line.
