Ok, we have seen them protest, we know its a hot topic in congress... so whats your opinion on what to do with the illegal aliens?

ok this is meaning all illegals mexican or polish your in this country illegally you should be ousted till you are here legally period. people want to live here take the tests it may take a while but its worth it for all of us in the long run. also learn english when i travel overseas i make sure i know the language cause a american traveling and not knowing the native tounge people are really really rude to you. its about respecting the people you are around. i have had alot of illegal mexican friends but i respected them cause they are trying for citizenship and speeking the language. when you dont even try to learn the language thats where i get pissed.

I am against illegal aliens 100%. There is nothign anyone can say to sway me otherwise. Simple reason as well, IT'S FUCKING ILLEGAL. The first thing they do when they get here is break a Federal Law. Off to a bad start if you ask me.

I say we send them all back to whereever the hell they came from and post guards across the whole border with rifles and orders to kill anyone who takes one illegal step into America.

Their protests mean nothing. Illegal immigrants are here illegally and therefore are NOT protected by the constitution, so they don't even have the right to protest, and we deffinitely shouldn't listen to them.

Get a green card, or get out. I have absolutely NO problem with legal immigrants, but illegal ones need to be sent back home most certainly.

Do you actually know that I could come to the USA legally, being able to commit 12 crimes here and than apply legaly for immigration? Do you know how many forms you have to fill out, before the immigration process even starts? and how many forms you have to fill out till it ends?

Well, you do not have to take tests to live or work in the USA, you have to take tests after 2 to 5 years of immigration and if you want to become a citizen than. Even tho I agree that you should have to learn the basics of the language of the country you try to immigrate to.

If you respected your Mexican friends, why do you say they are here illigal? If they are your friends, did you inform yourself about immigration, and what obstacles they face when they try for immigrate and help them with it? You can come in the Country with tourist Visa for 90 days and than even extend those days. Not that I disbelief you, there might be ways around immigration to citizenship which I missed, but I would love to see them.

Being from a country (Australia) without any land borders, it is interesting to read a part of how the US deals with illegal immigrants when they are caught. I think the US is lucky that their countries of origin accept them back. Australia has a mandatory detention policy. So illegals are detained until they can be returned. Many countries who we mostly deport to have policies whereby they won't accept their deportee's back unless they agree. As many definitely don't wish to return and it can't be determined that they are refugee's (economic refugee's don't qualify as refugee's), we have people in detention for over 5 years.

The US would need a disincentive for those wishing to enter illegally to make the attempt "not worth it" with high odds of being caught. Deporting won't work long term as they will simply re-enter. The risk isn't outweighing the reward. You won't have a problem if they don't want to come.

I would also completely support very serious punishment for employers who accept illegal immigrants. Hell, there was a case maybe a week ago where a group of employers were HELPING to forge the illegal immigrants social security info!

I'm sorry. I understand why people would like to come to this country from some others, but do it legally and it wont be a problem.

they tried and i am sort of for a more open border, but my personal problem is if you live near a border state your population will skyrocket and might cause economic instability....

has nothing to do with them taking jobs i believe anyone who wants to work should but my state doesnt have the jobs to support our citizens, we are a poor state.

but on the other hand having more citizens or population might bring more buisnesses and create more jobs.

but then again i dont want my state to become an airport terminal because if they do loosen border laws it might become one.

If we deported all the illegal immigrants our country would enter another depression. I don't think you realize how much we depend on those illegal immigrants to do the jobs that no American wants to do. You learn the value of illegal immigrants to our economy in post high school education. Well, basically I mean go back and wait your turn. But, seeing most families don't want to be seperated from each other (illegal immigrants having babies in America, thus making them legal citizens.), I suppose Bush could let the current immigrants stay here and not seem like a total tyrant or cruel dictator. Bush has 2 ways of going about this - 1: allow immigrants to keep coming illegally and win the next presidential race by the majority of the states near the mexican borders. 2: send them packing, and lose every vote of the mexican majority and basically giving up his spot as the president. Me giving no s*** about Bush, I wouldnt vote for him with w.e decision he decided on.

Immigrants start out with the lower paying jobs, but after 5 years (forgot exactly) they can go for the higher paying jobs. And on the news I hear some mexicans say "If they weren't here illegally, who would do the jobs everyone doesnt even think of doing?" Well, I would respond, if Bush allowed you all to come legally, would you honestly stay with those $1 an hour jobs still? or go for the minimum wage? In my eyes, theyre contradicting themselves. And, how do you think America was ran before you came over illegally and started taking all the jobs? America has gone down hill in the past 10 years
before the immigrant boom has came out this much, not just from the immigrant issue, but from the bad choice of goverment decisions and gas prices.

I have an idea, why don't you fight in our military and then you will be closer to being able to say the things you are saying and not be a hypocrit. I'm not Mexican, but I already did my time in Iraq. I read your post and all I have to say is that you are a very racist person. English is not our national language. The U.S. hasn't declared one yet believe it or not. Spanish is almost used as much as English. However, I do think English will eventually become our national language, but that doesn't mean you should discriminate against Mexicans because they can't speak our language. The majority of the illegal immigrants come to the U.S. to get work and send money back to Mexico to their families. They come here out of necessity.

It really makes me want to throw up when I hear that people like you still exist in this country.
