He's not a correspondant anymore, he's just a player and his statements deserve no more attention than anyone else. Perhaps he likes the new system, but he likes it as a player and not representative of swg. I disagree with him, but I am not going to start a new thread on mmorpg just to strip him down.

Indeed. That's why I think that most (not all, Obraik being a notable exception) of these NGE/SWG supporters want is the attention that being an antagonist brings!

I'd have to respectfully disagree with you on a couple points...
While you're correct in that he's really just another player like anybody else, he's also a Galactic Senator, he got that shiney gold title bestowed upon him by SOE , he gets access to their private forums where Red_Names and the rest of the Senate exchange ideas or wotnot. Main point being, the Senators claim to represent the players of SWG (see my previous post where I link to their own definition of what a Galactic Senator is and does), and if they really want to do that then they need to act a little more professional and respectful to their fellow players, even if they disagree with them. I think if they all did that, a lot more of the community would take them seriously and offer them respect in return. And if they're unable to do that, then I think they really dont deserve to be a Galactic Senator.
Also, I did not start this thread to "strip down" Darth_Sushi in any way, he seems to do that fine on his own. The reason I started this thread was to bring to attention the lack of respect shown to fellow players by some of the Galactic Senators, and it was just his particular post (the one in my op) that made me feel like I finally needed to speak up on this issue. I've read posts by more than a few Senators acting in the same fashion, poor sushi just happened to be the straw that broke this camels back, so to speak, lol

He claims he ignore the "flames" and "hate" and get on with his job. In other words, if you're anti NGE, you're either flaming or a hater thus your opinion/suggestions are never gonna reach a dev.

The recent incident is just another proof that the senator program is a joke and should be shutdown. SOE was very quick to delete any threads about what happened. I just hope people got to read it and see what's really going on and how they are looked upon by the ones who are suppose to represent them.
The alternative is that players get to elect new senators. If the senator who made those comments took his job seriously, he'd step down as a consequence of his mindless actions.

While I am not at all 100% happy with the NGE, I have accepted the fact that things will not change. All of you seem to think that by some chance all your whining will pay off. It won't.
And for you people that think this EMU is gonna be your savior, wake up. It will be MORE bug ridden. There will be MORE exploiting. Not to mention the fact that anyone who runs their own EMU server will be making the rules.
