They did do one thing though - they demonstrated that they really can't use TC to determine how the event would handle on regular servers ............

He also said they had been doing internal testing for weeks, those guys whoever they were did a great job

So we created a system that would restrict players and make all professions the same and there would be minimal gameplay around making that change. We definitely borrowed a lot of ideas from WoW that worked and figured out how to make them fit for SWG Julio Torres (2005)
SOE continues to show why proper development cycles where invented. If you dont follow the rules for development how can you create your best possible product? If you knowingly violate the rules for software development that have been taught to you it makes you reckless, bold and arrogant. When you know from experience those rules exist for a reason and have seen the damage breaking them causes you no longer are cute brash student but an idiot adult.
I seriously believe these developers and publishers to be the biggest idiots on earth. How one can code a game in a complex computer language but continue to basically repeatedly walk into the same wall over and over and over again befuddles me.
