What's Everyones FIRST MMorpg?

in The Pub at MMORPG.COM

Mine is Pristontale i played it for 4 years on and off.

Still Till this day I play it sometimes and i have ursges to play it agian. I loved the grinding its been 5 years and no 1 is max level on that game yet on original server of course.

Pristontale 2 is Going to be the best 2007 game.

    UO is my first mmorpg and I am still playing it. I always try out nearly every new mmorpg that comes out though. I like having a second mmorpg to play around a bit.

    My first MMORPG was Ultima Online. Played it from 1998 to 2000. Was great at that time.

    i played rs first im lvl 78 now and still play but not as much i play eudemons online and am tryin to persuade mum and dad to let me get wow or guild wars or somthin else along those lines

    Mine was The Fourth Coming, aka T4C. It wasn't awful for it's time, but it was 2D and was developed about the time the first 3D MMORPGs hit production so it got smacked in the market.

    I actually beta tested another one prior to that, Mordor somethingorother, but it died out as well and I never played it in release and don't know that it ever made it that far. Before that I did play several other MMORPGs of a sort but largely they lacked graphics to such a degree that I consider them a different genre altogether. Text only MUDs, and MUDs that were primarily text but included splash screen sorts of graphics.

    Lol when I come to think of it, my first was also Runescape.

    Then I played Shattered Galaxy. Much more fun.

    my first MMorpg was Ultima Online, back in 2000. I played it for 18 months before moving on and never looked back once. Mostly cause of the abandon of Richard Garrior and the total changes EA did to the game so that nowadays calling it an "Ultima" game is almost an insult (Ninjas and samurais anybody?).

    Yep, SG was pretty fun. Still is actually, and still has a respectable population playing it. Not much of a "RP" factor there, but it is MMO. Sort of an MMO science fiction cyber war kind of thing going on. I used to be Vice Overlord and a short term Overlord of the old Gronor faction, way back in the day. Fear my Owls!

    If not counting Phantasy Star Online for the dreamcast then it was the alpha-beta2 of ragnarok online. Then went to Daoc.

    Its not really a MMORPG but my first online rpg was PSO for the dreamcast.  That was the gateway drug that led me to Everquest.
