What saddens me in you sentences is that you didnt learn anything out of your suffering.

I have already clarified what I mean by abnormal lifestyle in another post, if you do not wish to read what I write carefully enough, then you shouldn't be responding either.  Assuming that I learned nothing out of my suffering when I have written numerous ways in which I did, and basing it only on the fact that I called something that is abornmal-abnormal is foolish.

Abnormal simply means anything that is NOT normal, and not taken as normalcy by the general society...and there is no way that you are going to convince me that the general population of the US considers homosexuality to be completely normal.  Therefore my usage of the word.

Nor was my suffering the result of a flaunted abnormal lifestyle, my suffering was the result of something that I was born with and could not hide even if I wanted to...the people that march down streets carrying banners bring it upon themselves.

You need to once again note that I am not talking about your average gay that gets picked on in school because somebody found out that he was gay.  I can't say how many times I have said that, but people are going to read into and find every little sentence that they can in order to try and discredit me, and quote things out of context...but that's okay.

Your argument is like a two legged dog with an eating disorder...weak and unbalanced.

Sorry, i didnt take anything out of conext and you repeated that they are not normal from, i quote, "not being taken as normalcy by the general society", what i meant that you didnt learn from your suffering is, there is different normalities in the world, do you consider yourself abnormal because of the spot in your forehead? or is it just a feature? is homosexuality just a feature? if you say no, can you prove it? how is it so diferente from being tall, or small, having blue eyes, or brown eyes?having a spot in the forehead or in the back? being a genius with infinite potential or being just average? what is normal? what some book indulged into society during the years of ignorance? Why do people with no academic knowledge and no studies and proof about what they say give their opinion about what is normal, when all the psychological associations have said time and again that homosexuality isnt a disorder, and if it isnt a disorder, it is a feature.

Since coming to these boards I've read of all of those incidences happening to homosexuals.  I don't think a round birthmark would cause you such grief as those events.

No, you missed the point...I'm comparing having a round birthmark on my forehead and being made fun of it to these activists who march down the streets flaunting their abnormal lifestyle, but expect to not be RIDICULED.

(I spelled it right for you, and being a bad speller doesn't make me stupid, skill in sentence fluidity is much more important than remember how to spell certain words, the fact that you corrected me simply makes you an asshat)

If you do not believe that I have encountered as much or more ridicule than your average homosexual then you are sadly mistaken...But what makes me sad is not the average homosexual...it's the agendized homosexual who feels the need to march down the streets saying "HEY LOOK AT ME" but expects no negative reaction from the public...the public is going to react negatively to any sort of "HEY LOOK AT ME I'M DIFFERENT" tirade from ANY group...I'm not sure why homosexuals feel that they are supposed to be the exception to this rule.

I have reiterated this point time and time again, but I'll do it one more time...I'm not saying that mockery of any group based on who they are is right...because it isn't.  What I am saying is that these activists who march down the street waving their flags cheapen the real struggle that goes on among those that just want to be left alone and treated fairly.

I have a feeling that ridicule is the least of homosexuals worries.

And I'm not trying to be argumentative towards you, but some people want to be different.  Fitting in just isn't for some people.  If they want to be different then so be it.  But that shouldn't cause them to be pegged for violence or for discrimination.

Why do people always want everyone to act the same anyways?  I would rather be around a group of all unique people than a group of people clammering to act the same and scorning whomever doesn't act just like them.

    Oh please.
Of course gay hatred exists in the world, but it's not as though homosexuals are forced to live in a giant bubble where we point and laugh at them and tell them that they are going to hell.
The problem with saying that they... ... flame away.

Wait...couldn't you have had surgery if it was that bad...?
Anyway, back to what i was going to say which was...that you're absolutely right.
Homosexuality is not natural. If it was there wouldn't be 2 sexes... or none for that matter...
I would agree that homosexuality is natural if someone can show me that 2 males or 2 females can create a baby...

People people can't we just all get along?

Here's an idea, why don't we as a society revert back to the Roman lifestyle. That way everyone can do whatever they want to each other in nice bath houses and not worry so much about morals.

It looks like we might be taking a trip back in time, well our morals will be taking a trip anyway.

Don't be terrorized! You're more likely to die of a car accident, drowning, fire, or murder! More people die every year from prescription drugs than terrorism LOL!

That is the biggest crock of crap I have seen you write in a while reavo.

I forgot to add that this is an insane thread.  Some of you have some pathetic complex reasoning skills.  Just because you can find one or two sources that support your theory does not mean that opposing theories are automatically wrong.

I have reiterated my point something like three times now...you simply to not seem to really want to understand...Of course some people don't care about fitting in...I never argued against that.  I'm not going to go over this again, I think that I've typed enough, hopefully someone who got my point will get something out of it.

Ok, what's the point of homoerotic animal porn?  If it's suppossed to cause the viewer to reflect on present debates....I've seen dogs humping human legs.  Heck, there's dogs that'll hump the legs of male or female humans.  Outer-species Bi-sexuality?  What message could we get from a "Animals humping tree stumps/legs/teddy bears" exhibit?

Hmm, last time I checked, We weren't talking about Gay Marriage. In fact, I don't think I've even heard of animals getting married.

This isn't directly at you, outfctrl. Its just we've gone from a Homosexual Animal exhibit to Human Gay Rights.

secondly, how the hell do you get a way with relating homosexuality with rape, murder, and "whatever other poison of the human mind."  Your comparing companionship and love with killing, and forcing sex.

If you don't understand the comparison, then you completely missed the point.

I have to say that you are ridiculous.

    Undeniably so, sir.

I don't care whatever the fuck your faith is and says,

Uhm, who said anything about faith? What? You got to be of a religious origin to believe in the malignant nature of homosexuality?

Homosexuals(by choice or not) in general, are regular people.

No, sorry, they are not. They are in fact very irregular, and abnormal. They go against the right way of things.

    NOT RAPISTS and NOT MURDERERS.

    Never said they were.

Treat them as you would any one else

You missed part of the message if you think it's just about "humping".  Did you read the part about some species of animals bonding for life that are the same sex?

That was a good try at a brutal attack.  What would motivate you to feel so passionate about this to try to attack someone that way?

Then don't marry someone of the same sex.  image

I think what would settle this whole gay marriage debate is to just get the government out of marriage.  It's a religious issue, and as usual when the government gets involved it turns into some form of social engineering.

But since so many people feel like they need to use the government and it is so entrenched in everything we do these days, I think there should be some form of government recognized civil union for same sex couples.  It could even work for people who are just living together and who are the same sex but aren't gay.  At least you would get people under some kind of protection legally.  And it would sure take care of some of the uninsured people who are out there.

I was listening to Neal Boortz the other day and he read a study that someone did.  It said that if civil unions were legalized then health care costs and insurance costs would actually go down for everyone.  There were other social benefits the report listed too, but I'm not an Economics major so I can't remember all of them.  I just thought the health insurance costs and getting people insured was enough to get people behind this.

I am confused as to how people can and will tell gay people that they are unnatural, and that it is just a life choice without any evidence to the matter.  Most scientists agree that it has to do with hormones in the mothers uterous before birth. Why do you think that the biggest percentage of the people who are gay are the last child?  Because the other children have taken up much of the testosterone (or oestragen).  Why else do you think that 1 in 11 people in the world are gay?  Why do you think that they have the inability to become aroused by someone of the opposite sex?  It is biology and the chemical make-up in the brain.

All that the other side brings to the table is "Nuh uh!" like they always seem to do.  Then they damn them to hell, take away thier rights, and alienate them from society.

I don't see why this changes anything. The only cases of gay animals i've heard of is when they're no females to mate with. Not the case with humans and if it is something wrong with there hormones/genes shouldn't we be trying to fix it?

I don't realy buy that whole hormones/genes thing either. How do you explain homosexuals become hetros? We make choices.Don't try and blame it on your genes/hormones when YOU are the one who chose to be that way.

Well, for the first part, you are misinformed, there are many homosexual animals, and it doesn't have anything to do with the lack of partners to mate with.

At the moment we are trying to prove that it is the hormonal imbalance that causes it, so we can't "fix" it yet, as if there is anything to fix.

Also, homosexuality and heterosexuality have shades in between, it is not just the black and white that people tend to see.  It is somewhat of a scale, with heteros being on one side, homos being on the other side, and bisexuals in the middle.  Every person is put somewhere on that scale, and very few people are completely on one side or the other, but somewhere in between.  As much as you want to say, "NO I'M COMPLETELY HETEROSEXUAL", you still have some attraction to other men, but not nearly as close as it is to women.

And for your last statements, can you bring any evidence to support that homosexuality is completely a choice?  You don't buy scientific studies that are making progress on what really causes homosexuality, but you stubbornly support the fact that it is just a choice without evidence.

Good job being intolerent of ~10% of the earths population. image
