Another uber L33T player that had his gear from raiding 2 years obsolete. Guess what genius? What reason would people have to buy an expansion if theres nothing in it for them to improve their characters? Expansions have to offer new incentives to its players. I love BC and all its content. My guild is almost done with Karazan and getting ready for Gruul (yeah I know we're "way behind" but most of the people in my guild have families and jobs so we're not hardcore). And the uber l33t players in the uber l33t guilds will still have almost exclusive access to the best items in game. How many people have gear from TK or Black temple? Not many. Also, I highly doubt you were an active pvp'er as you claim to be since anyone who pvp's on a regular basis knows that WoW's pvp is team based. So yeah, 2 people should be able to beat you, especially considering the rock/paper/scissor nature of pvp in WoW. I'm also calling shenanigans on your claim to being better than 99% on your server. Lol. Ego much?

Yeah it's really team based.. more like class based if anything. The only reason they claim that it's team based is because the developers were too stupid to balance all the classes. GG paladin beating classes with just spells(with ease).
I could beat 2 people in wow. I could kill 5 in a row. Thats not why the pvp system is garbage. It's garbage b/c it is boring, because battles dont last long enough.
I know its hard for a newbie who can barely manage brainless PvE content to understand that some people who play & beat WoW would be disappointed.
As for your last comment, I dont see why it's hard to believe. Every player i dueled/pvped in WoW sucked. It was very boring to beat the mindless newbie kids that play WoW. WoW is also a game where you get a cookie cutter build and a cookie cutter PvP strategy.. so if you have a certain build you will play like any other character w/ the same build. Its sad that everyone who plays WoW lacks a working brain and cant do PvE or PvP content and needs blizzard to spoon feed it to them.
They couldnt integrate the PvP system into their boring environment, so they put it all in instances. Real fun. I would consider wow a pure PvE game honestly. Anyone who thinks they are hardcore for playing a red server is a moron. Not like anyone actually pvps anymore in WoW

Raiding in WoW pre-BC was retarded. 40 man raids??? Its hard enough getting 5 people to work together let alone 40. The new 10 and 25 man raids are much better and more accessible. They really show who was dead weight in the 40 man raids too. Before, because of the large number of people in a raid, a less skilled or lazy player could hide themselves in the mass. Not so anymore.As for pvp...I agree, pvp in WoW is horrible. But its been horrible since the beginning. BC really didn't change anything. If you want a pvp game, then WoW isn't for you. And your just realizing this now? Wow...who's the moron now?

Lol. Its hard enough getting 5 ppl to work together? Maybe because the type of people who play WoW are 15 year olds. And like there is skill in WoW PVE? Get real. WoW PvE is all about what mods you are using. Completely took the skill/fun out of PvE. So a garbage PvE and PvP system, what does that leave good about WoW?
Btw, I didnt spend 3 years playing WoW like you. But in the few months I did play, I beat their boring PvE content and left. So I feel sorry for the morons that still play WoW. If they all quit, maybe blizzard would make a MMO that isnt garbage
Wow is lousy because it ruined MMMORPGs for a while. I liked the old feeling of EQ1 before PoP where dieing ment something and so did leveling. So you played with people who weren't morons. Hopefully someone will get back to this.
LMAO that isn't even an argument and i told you that if you are getting one-shot by anything, you suck and it is probably best that you go back to eq where you cannot be killed.

I personally dont think WoW ruined anything, as far as a game it is a sucessful game wether you like it or not, yes there are noobs and yes there immature people just like in any other mmo. As far as the person who said he beat the pve content in a coupple of months lol at you, you are showing that you are talking out of your ass. I played wow for 2 years and I can tell you that beating the pve content in a coupple of months isnt possible, unless you consider doing 5 man content. Beating pve means that you beat allll the pve content thats out atm, including every boss in each pve instance wether it be 5, 20,25 or 40 man raids.
I am tired and sick of people blaming everything on wow, wow is a game and if you dont like it GO somewhere else, its pretty easy, if you like EQ than go play EQ no one is stopping you, but its not wows fault that you are burned out of mmorpgs and cant find a game that you like.

So EQ may have had more difficult content that required more people, but at least there was an incentive to do PvE. Try raiding an instance more than 1 time without becoming bored. As I said, no competition.

Lol this makes me wonder how skillful you were, it also makes me wonder if you were EVER in a high end raiding guild. Well ill share my opinion since I was in the most successful guild in the server and if I may say were in the top 20 US guilds at one point. Every time we recruited someone we made sure they had the SKILL and knowledge on the class, they were mainly observed by the actual members of the guild, if the person lacked skill (drew agro, didnt use his classes skills to help improve the situation like for priest shield when its necessary dont die, mages dont draw agro, crowd control etc etc etc etc) people voted and said why this person shouldnt be part of the guild because it lacks progression.
Ill agree with you that not much skill is needed for 5 mans and mabye even 20 mans, but to be a succesful guild and put Nax and AQ on farm status as a server first or as an instance in general, yeat it *(&^ing takes skill.
Mods dont make you a better player, if you suck you suck with or without mods, all the mods do is make you monitor things better but dont make you a good player if you suck.
And as for pvp if you are getting one shotted im sorry to say it but you suck, I played a cloth class and a dic/holy priest in wsg at that and I know how tough it can be for clothies, but if you are getting one shotted you suck lol. Go back to where it is impossible to die, in this case EQ.

Although I think WOW has many positive aspects there is at least one area which could have been improved:
PVP servers - I enjoy the PvP aspects of games, but WOW made no division between PK and PvP. What has a level 60 accomplished by killing level 30's with one shot? I bet the level 60 would think twice about killing a level 30 if after killing a level 30 they got flagged as a Pk'er and could drop a piece of armor while flagged.
Basically, if you attack someone and they attack back that is PvP, If you attack someone and the other person does not attack back (usually because the attacker is a higher level and can kill with one or two hits) that is Pk'ing.
Therefore, if you think you are a real bad ass because you can kill people at a much lower level then you, fine go ahead....Then we can see how great of a "PvP'er" you are after you get flagged as a Pk'er and character of an equal level attacks you, knowing that if you loose there is a very good chance of loosing a piece of armor.

Lol @ saying WoW requires skill. Maybe newbies see it that way, but I didnt find it challenging at all. Yeah, a sucky player cant click on the health alert that comes up with a person to click & heal. It's really hard. Also, they cant cast DI when the raid is wiping. That is all really challenging and requires a lot of skill to do. Or when you are in AQ, it takes a lot of skill to use decursive to chain cleanse people. keep telling yourself that.
AQ40 was simple. It took our guild maybe 3 tries max per NPC to get it down. Twin emps took like 2 days but that was because our priests & warriors were idiots.
Btw if your guild thought AQ & naxx were difficult, you probably never played a game that had any challenging PvE content. Just because you fill your guild up with 15 year old newbies who are too dumb to play their class doesn't mean the PvE content in WoW is difficult, or requires skills. I dont think guilds would be able to progress much past BWL if there werent mods. It just shows the lack of foresight by the WoW developers.

But i have my own thoughts on why WoW is a game id rather not play. Let me start by saying, yes i have played. Played a hemo rogue up to level 60 on fenris. WoW is the baby MMO of the industry, it is very newb friendly. You can get the best gear, you can get insane amount of money, and levels, without really having to work for it. They baby you throughout the whole game, quests are very simple. They dont require much time at all, this game is for the casual gamer that wants to come on and do everything pretty fast.
Part of the reason why i love everquest. Things take time, you cant be highend in a short amount of time. Some quests require raids, some require major groupage. But so does leveling, in WOW i pretty much solo'ed my way through the game. Which was fun at times, but not in the end game processs.
Starting the game you realize how easy it is to level, how easy it is to get gear, and how easy it is to get money. How is that fun? You start the game and within a few months you can be competing with the top players. That is just overall lame to me. People said you can make a unique character, thats bullshit. You cannot be a decent character without a good build. Which 9/10 times someone has the same build as you, and most likely the game gear. Please tell me how that makes your character unique?
WoW is an easy MMO that will baby you throughout the game, it is targeted towards the young kids. With things as the cartoonish graphics and simple game play. It requires no skill, i do not see where you guys are coming from with this, "you must have no skill" shit. Watch any video from maydie, with the right build you dont even need gear to kill somebody. Maydie did it with his rogue plenty of times.
People that leave WoW, often think other games are junk because they have to work for their gear, levels, and fun.
I think the problem is that people play WoW even though they dont enjoy it. They are too weak to just quit and find something else. Talk to anyone who does endgame PvE & PvP and they will tell you the game is boring. Most of my guild quit because we got sick of PVE and PvP. It was just too boring to do. And at that time, there were newbie guilds who could barely get BWL down right. It's like when you see WoWs PvE and PvP endgame, you realize there is no reason to play.
So basically what you are saying is no one who is in the top for arena pvp are good gamers because what you don't play? You are living in a dream world if you don't think the top pvpers are skilled I have been playing mmo's since the dawn of the term mmo and before that I played muds / bbs etc I have always been a competitive gamer and I only focus on PVP. I was the first High warlord on my server back before they changed the system to allow lower standing people to gain more ranking points (making it to easy IMO) The current top players in my battle group (Vindication) are quite skilled and I would like to see you put your money where your mouth is. Its easy to sit here and bash wow pvp and its players but I highly doubt you would even make top 1000 let alone top 10 so prove me wrong. Also there is no such thing as pvping for care bear rewards anymore the care bear gear is good for care bearing the pvp gear is good for pvping it is very cut and dry now with the introduction of resilience / stam on the pvp rewards, you need to give it another look / try.
I didn't think characters were unique in WoW either. There are at least 100 or so max levels of any class/race combo. So you are basically just a number on the server. Then they put in xfers and all that garbage and you got these newbies coming on your server who have an x after their name..lol
Maybe if WoW had more races, more classes it would be a good game. No monks, bards, enchanters, mages, monks, shadowknights, etc. I like an MMORPG that allows your character to be completely different from other people. There is such a limited amount of race/classes in WoW, and that means everyone is gonna look the same (and have the same gear).
Lol at the whole "Tier x" set armor system. People just get it because it says "Paladin" or whatever on it. It's only there so braindead players dont have to research what kind of character they want to have. Instead, they have to fit into WoWs cookie cutter builds. Most games dont have the idiotic class sets that WoW has. MMORPGs arent fun if you are the same as everyone else.

LOL you are living in a dream world, first off if some guy did indeed have 3 ppl playing his account his account can be perma banned for that kind of thing blizzard bans people all the time. I did not have any help getting to HWL and I would love for you to log on and show me this skill that you seem to have and that us top arena players don't. Its pretty funny how you guys can come here trash wow and basically QQ about every aspect in the game saying how no one who plays is skilled meanwhile companies are shelling out money for sponsorships as wow arena is quickly becoming an e-sport. So just continue to live in your bubble of ignorence and assume that all of us hardcore arena players suck as much as you did.

You know what. People on my server looked at people with titles like grand marshal and were smart enough to know that only losers who played WoW all day had them. Lol..casual players can get the titles on a dead server maybe. But people who had them on my server generally played about 15-20 hours a day(the guy with 3 ppl played 24 hrs for several months).
So yeah, there is your skill based PvP system. Oh btw that warrior lost a duel vs me when I used my fists and seal of righteousness. He must have been really skilled to have a title like that, lol

Lol @ labeling yourself hardcore. Most people I know who claim to be hardcore are complete newbies who dont have a clue how to PvE or PvP. They just waste a lot of their time and refer to themselves as hardcore. It really is pathetic to see that imo. If you put these hardcore players in any non carebear MMO you would see how much they suck. I think people are just happy to find a game that rewards skill-less newbies(like yourself).

you need a serious reality check dude, I don't know where you get the advertisements in arena perhaps thats your uber reading comprehension at work, and besides which I'm talking about arena not grand marshal or hwl I stated I had hwl to show that I have been pvping in wow for a very long time. To think that the top players in wow arena have no skill just pure ignorance and as I said before you should log in and try it for yourself you will get rolled so hard at low rated arenas you would never even get a chance to see how good the top arena teams are. You sit in your bubble hating wow cause you accomplished nothing in the game and gripe that any top player has no skill and no life, an easy way to makeup for the fact that you were never a top player. Its much easier to just call everyone a newb rather than to look at yourself and realize that you know what I don't have what it takes to be a top arena player. You can sit here and mock me the game or its players but deep down your only hiding your own inadequacies because you failed in the game. Take your frustrations out on someone else cause you have no idea what you are talking about. I play on burning blade and If by chance your character is on that server I would love to destroy you 100 out of 100 times in duels but then again if you were on burning blade you would probably pretend you weren't or make up some other gibberish about how I have no life or skill meanwhile I will continue to dominate and you can sit here and frustrate.
And FYI I have been a top player in several different games in multiple genres, please tell me what game you own at thats not a care bear game so I can come show you exactly how poor you really are in all games.
P.S I see you just joined mmorpg a few days ago and already have many posts you truely must be an uber gamer to sit in the forums ripping on others such skill is rarely seen now adays.
Lol. I quit WoW because it was too easy. As for the people who play Wow being skilled, that's funny. Your title is nothing and it is just a measurement of what a loser you are. Good job spending 10+ hours a day for several months to get a title, just for some item that my guild could have gotten me in maybe 1 hour of raiding.
Yeah, I was never a top player. I never did have a grand marshal title etc. I know when we had intra-server BGs that my PvE guild would always rape the hardcore PvP guilds with their titles etc. I guess the top players falls into the category of losers with titles who fail miserably at WoW pvp.
So.. keep labeling yourself hardcore and the best. No one believes you because of all the garbage you said about WoW pve and pvp requiring skill when they don't. WoW pvp is for kids(you) with too much time on their hands. Go play a non carebear game with a real pve/pvp system and see how much "skill" you really have.

Your saying that lvl 60-70 blues and greens dropped from mobs and quest rewards were better then Naxx (Teir 3 - best armour pre BC)? your just recycling half truths that ppl where saying b4 BC was out...do u know anything about items? I started BC with Teir 1/2 and did not replace a single piece of armour before I hit 68 and then It was items from dungeons, I did replace my trinkets and weapons around 63... to sum up no quest reward is better then Teir 3 armor.
The rest of your comments are you either bragging (pally killing 5 players in a row id love to see that) or just making un-informed comments after all all your comments are Pre BC so you have no idea what classes are like now, how PvP is now or how PvE is now.
