Hater-haters -- that is, people who ruthlessly attack anyone who posts a negative opinion -- are far more annoying than regular fanbois or regular haters.
Negative opinions are perfectly valid, and -- as long as they are backed up by specifics -- are an important part of why people visit this site. You want to hear the good AND the bad before you make your decisions.
If you like the game, fine. State your case and be done. Same if you don't like it.

As most I have yet to decide wether I want to pay for this game. As it looks great in many ways, I feel that they handld open beta wrong, which is going to lead to a very buggy release, with lots and lots of server crashes. I really wish they woulda followed warhammer with beta.....but I think I know why they didnt.
Many people have always said they'll play both, so all the warhammer fans are gunna buy AoC anyways for something to do. Im sure funcom took WAR delay as a opportunity to push out a un finished game.

I wish you luck, but they are shaping up to be a zerg guild (which is probably a necessary evil to succeed in AOC) and most likely you'll be running from their hundreds of members everywhere. Still, you can always gank lowbies or something I suppose if you're into that.

I'm in beta and I don't even play anymore. Not only is the completely unstable, its not as fun as I thought it would be. The dungeons are boring as hell with no real challenge. Mobs are all the same and the bosses are completely static. Tank and spank works for everything. The combat is slow and clunky and the odds of completing a 4 chain combo on someone in pvp is zero unless the person you are fighting lagged out and can't move which might be the case. Not only am I cancelling my pre-order, I'm not even getting the game anymore.

Lol he wasn t being harsh or anything just stated he was in beta and basically didn t like it. Why is it someone says they didn t like it in a decent manner people are like good ty don t need ya in the game. Judging from OB general chat i can see why.

I'm 90% sure i'll be keeping my preorder and playing for the first 40 days (30 days from retail + 10 from Early Access payment). Then i'll decide whether to stick around or not.
Been needing a new MMO to delve into for a long time now and i've been enjoying the beta however the client itself is unstable and performance could be alot better.
Hopefully the retail version will be improved as i know the beta clients are older verisons.

Keeping my pre-order. I've been waiting for a game that will hopefully be a more mature player base. I have a constant 64 FPS in Beta and don't have half the issues that other people have. I also purchased a system just to play this game. Quad core with 4 gig mem and 8800GT. My vista rating is 5.6. I expect issues, but I will give them time to work them out. See you all on my rhino!!
Face it! The game runs like crap and needs to be pushed back until they can optimize it. The open beta was purely for marketing and it failed. All that talk about stress testing is a bunch of BS, the game ran horrible in closed beta with far less users online. To all those people that keep crying it's in beta and you can't judge a game in 13 levels, wake up! It's been in *real* beta for some time now and the best half of a game is the first 20 levels.
If you are on the fence then you should wait a couple of months. I’m sick of fanboys screaming how other people are idiots for telling the truth about how this game runs. We have seen this before with Vanguard and if you go hang out on their forums you will still find fanboys shouting that everything will be magically fixed on the next patch.

Just canceled CE preorder (don't forget to cancel your funcom account too). The game just isn't fun with a load screen every 2 minutes to do something or the game simply freezing. I like how when your running while it freezes (to debug supposedly) you keep running right into MOB and die. Or has recently, the damn debugger goes off during combat and since there is no autoattack your dead if adn when it unfrezzes.
Game has potential, but not for me right now.
Edit: and I admit I was a huge fan of AOC and wanted it to succeed and be perfect at launch, but it won't be prefect (in 6 months it will probably rock!)
