The issue here is credibility. Without real experience with the gameplay you cannot expect people participate in your topics on the discussion. By trying to find out if you have real credibility on this or not, I'm better able to participate in this discussion.

Given the product is produced by AV.. possibly the world dumbest developer of computer games lead by Captain Large Claims.. I'd say there is every reason for this game to start in a negative deficit. It did for me right after the whole no preorder.. oh wait... preorders nonsense. Well that and the snotty arsed interviews.
They changed their business tactic, so what? Many other companies have done this over the years. Chill out, they didn't eat your kids. IMHO, they did nothing wrong. In fact, they may have had to make this decision to be able to launch this game.
Also the videos show watered down simplistic 2 mode combat. Fanbots keep saying look at the blocks and shield with arrows embeddded in it. I get out my sherlock holmes cape and crack pipe and even with my magnifying glass.... nope zip.. nada. Nowt !
You should try something before you bash it. Sometimes, you don't see the little subtle things in a photo that you would see IRL. Everyone knows this. Photos are flat, experience is real.
Then someone goes and posts another benny hill show episode and then claims its strategic.
Strategy cannot always be seen or understood. Just because you may not have seen any strategies employed doesn't mean they weren't there. You cannot fully see a strategy playing out on a battlefield from a first-person perspective, you need a third-person perspective to realize it fully.
Then someone says "its just like Oblviion"... erm... more like Morrowind. I'd say
Then someone posts look at the 200 players. So I does a head count and there like 50 max on screen.
Then somone posts a live feed and all I see is some e peen dude killing a macro'er in a lake by shooting arrows whislt swimming. WTF !
What more evidence do you want a DNA sample ? Get me a pot !
I'm not saying that the what the original post says is false or wrong. What I'm pointing to is the fact that he may not have any credibility, because he may not have played it. Though, you and I or anyone else knows, MrBloodworth hasn't played Darkfall.
I can tell you for sure....Savage 2 is more of an FPS than Darkfall....argue all you want...just shows how silly you MMO only gamers are

Idioty is not a necessary prerequisite to criticize DF, thera are a lot of other better reasons, I can criticize graphic and sound, they are low level... It is simple, by watching game videos...
But gameplay is still another issue, please dn't feed brain-crippled, they need some rest in special hospital for mental disorders....
