Launch technically hasn't happened yet, IMO. To me it's when everyone is actually starting to log into the servers. If they can somehow manage to let people into the servers without problems... :P

2. To posters feeling the need to state how f2p really isn't f2p: Players understand the concept. You aren't privy to some secret the rest are missing. You're embarrassing yourself.

These guys know their servers, their pop numbers, and how it'll handle a mass login... it either will or it won't.
I'm expecting a crash to avoid disappointment. Either way, if the game operates today, it'll be the best launch in recent memory.

This is going to be Aions 3rd launch now? Korea, China (am i missing one?), Now EU/NA.
How many closed then open betas did they do?
It better go pretty damn smooth.

In at first try, servers up perfectly in time.
Friends can't login, too many players. The channels are CROWDED!
Absoltely smooth start for me, unfortunately not for many others who cant login.
LoTRO was a better launch.
So was CoH.
