We had all this before, yes its not strictly speaking what the site should review. But it is an rpg and has a darn sight more roleplaying in it than many MMO's, good single player rpg's often do. Thats a reflection on the MMO format and good single player design more than anything else.
But the idea its all a backroom deal is so passe. The mega hype and the paucity of any RPG single player titles is enough reason to include it.
People will whine about anything these days. I become ever more impressed these same people can tie their shoes in the morning or power up their PCs.
Because we all know that line of text linking to this artucle is a horrible travesty of justice and should demand capital punishment. Even if no one but pathetic attention whores give two damns about whether or not there's an extra article you may or may not read if you do not feel so inclined.
I didn't care about their previous DLC as it didn't really have anything to do with the main character; I'm happy to see they're continuing with the Warden's story now...

I dont see the problem with reviews of non-mmo games
After playing Dragon Age origins though, its like eh. I wouldn't call it genre defining either. When I heard about it, I thought it would be a free roam adventure like oblivion, but its just a linear RPG. Eiher way though, it has a spot for this site I think. Just like Mass Effect and elder scrolls.
They ay not be multiplayer, but they are still massive. Well, oblivion is anyway. The other too just seem way too linear.
To be honest, I was going to come here and ask "Why is this on an MMORPG site?" but since having read the first few angry nerdments (nerd comments) I have to say I feel apologetic before even posting. Dragon Age is great though... so... yeah... good article.

A good 40-50% of all the mmo players I know well in Eve also seem to play Dragon Age Origins so tbh there does seem to be a genre crossover as to "likes". Found it an interesting read myself.

Dragon Age sucked and I would prefer not to see articles on crappy offline linear RPGs on MMORPG.com. Just my 2cp.
Guys settle down.
They more than likly still have to talk about this non mmo as they took money to advertise it on their site.
This is just a follow up between business partners, that is more than likly in the contract they both signed when the game came out.

Holy shit, Bioware is making a Dragon Age MMO in addition to the Star Wars one?! Wow! That's awesome, I can't wait to play it!
