World of Darkness, shame on WW and CCP if Twilight Online has the 1st vampire vs. werewolf MMO.
Shadowrun, my personal favorite pen and paper game of all time.
Bioware were to make an engaging D&D game. D&D online just didn't feel um... right, if that makes any sence to old D&D players, not that it was/is a bad game, maybe it was just me. /shrug
I know all of these have been said before, but come on, it's no secret, these were some pretty freaking sweet games!!
World of Darkness MMO will probably be announced officially on september.
I'm 90% sure of that now.
And for those that like to call it Twilight Online, here are some White-Wolf employees talking about that subject:

"I'd rather sell vampires to disaffected former Twilight fans rebelling against some of the ideas they're a little bit over now but still kind of interested in "vampires, but for grownups."
This might not be the year for that, of course, but it's a plan that lets us sell vampires we're interested in."

I'm curious as to how Twilight and the rest of the modern vampire wave is going to affect the vampire icon once it's faded into the background. For a while, vampire media was becoming higher and higher action -- Blade, Buffy, even more direct horror like 30 Days of Night. We'd started to lose some of the early nineties glamor and opera.
Along comes Twilight. Vampires are beautiful again, but they're not particularly fashionable, and they keep to themselves. For Blade or Angel, vampirism was early adolescence: alienation from authority, anger, newfound capabilities. For Edward, it's later adolescence, literally being stopped at seventeen forever. The Cullens don't so much represent an alternative to being outcast in high school as the represent kids who are comfortable being outsiders.
Vampire: The Requiem, by and large, has been about an uncomfortable sort of adulthood. Struggling with relationships you can't walk away from, doing what you have to to make ends meet, discovering along the way just how much you can screw other people up. It occupies a space between True Blood and the Coen Brothers, between Brick and The Godfather.
I'm very fond of this phase of the property's development -- I've put my heart into it for two years of fandom and four years of game design. But we're gradually going to move on. The world of Vampire has always grown with the media around it, and a couple of years from now, I think the World of Darkness will be distinctly post-Twilight, post-Vampire Diaries, and so on.
SWTOR with better graphics and limited companions.
Also TERA ... for obvious reasons. Well, maybe not a NERDgasm exactly.
Oh and call me crazy but a Pokemon MMO would instantly be the highest selling, mostly subbed MMO in History. Its population would make WoWs look like SWG's population by comparison. Not sure if it would give me a nerdgasm though ... doubt it.
Legacy of Kain would be pretty sick. Amazing, diverse world... Great characters... Very high potential!
Personally, I would love to see an MMO based on a survival horror IP.
The whole generic idea of, you're trapped in a zombie/creature infested world with a few others and have to survive. Gather resources, find survivors, build a safe place to shelter yourself in.
Playing as a creature would be pretty awesome too.
Oh.
Also, a StarCraft mmo would get me to stop playing WoW in a heartbeat.
I think it would be interesting if Blizzard would make a Starcraft Universe MMO though I remember back in the days when I still played around TBC they said that was not going to happen maybe they changed there minds by now cause I feel like I could see this working just fine for them. Never got into Diablo though.
but yeah, to call this game Fantastic is like calling Twilight the Godfather of vampire movies....
The answer is most definitely a true UO2, and I am not just biased
I am talking the whole deal. The whole living breathing world thing that we haven't seen in a decade plus. The whole player housing in all its decorating glory actually being in the game world. Physical objects in the game world that you can actually take and place and steal, what a concept eh. The boats, the claiming of land, I can't control myself. It would wipe the floor with WoW and anything else for years to come. Heck it could still be 2D(with graphics to meet the modern day of course) and it would still wipe the floor with WoW. Please make this game now thank you!
Firefly would be one and larry Niven's smoke ring.
Velika: City of Wheels: Among the mortal races, the humans were the only one that never built cities or great empires; a curse laid upon them by their creator, Gidd, forced them to wander as nomads for twenty centuries...
Two spring to mind. First and foremost Asheron's Call 3 (or AC 1 ver 2.0 or whatever name you want). Second a well made Lovecraft MMO. The latter would be a true challenge to do well. The scope would be massive and it would need to involve game dynamics never brfore done in an MMO, such as when/ how can a dhar go insane and how could they recover?
The Moving Finger writes, and, having writ, Moves on: nor all thy Piety nor Wit Shall lure it back to cancel half a Line, Nor all thy Tears wash out a Word of it.
Tricky one, there are a lot of good IPs out there and many of them have been sullied somewhat by mediocre games.
If I was to throw one out there, it would probably be the Mass Effect universe; it's like Star Wars but without the telekinetic glowbat-wielding spacemonks and more emphasis on technology/weaponry.
uh.. bio/tech? pretty much the magic/force of the mass effect universe.
Personally I'd love to see a game like Secret World be executed well... But I'm skeptical of Funcom, so I'll only keep an eye out for the game.
an MMO that would allow me to have class choices of detective, CSI, attorney, serial killer, beat cop, etc. , would be centered on crime and crime solving that isn't ALL shooter-oriented (I'm not looking for simply another generic MMOFPS), and has class options that actually allow you to "solve" crimes commited by opposing factions (it's obvious I want to be on the solving side, more than the commiting side) - I have no idea how a game like this can be made, but the idea has always intrigued me.
A Cyberpunk based game...rated either M or even AO, for drugs, nudity, and gratuitous dismemberment...
An updated and improved Pre-NGE SWG, where NO ONE could EVER unlock jedi.
...really, I'm not asking much...
yeah, those are mine as well. for cyberpunk i'd suggest Richard Morgan's Altered Carbon universe or something based on the old Syndicate game (miniguns 4tw yo.)
edit. forgot, Mass Effect online would also be awesome if it was done without a central hero and set up for a mass (no pun intended) player base. A setting like a Reaper war where you can join up in your own ship to fight / help.

The Elder Scrolls. Every single TES was awesome! Would love to explore whole Tamriel in MMO.
or
Norse mythology based MMO.
Hmmm... I'm not quite sure...
Legacy of Kain would be pretty sick. Amazing, diverse world... Great characters... Very high potential!

Also, a StarCraft mmo would get me to stop playing WoW in a heartbeat.
Everquest 3 that retained the appeal of the original, combined with the developments of casualness, combat and graphics.
AC3, made with AC1's gameplay & lore as base, but with updated graphics & engine.
EQ3, made with EQ1's gameplay & lore as base, but with updated graphics & engine.
DAOC2, made with DAOC's gameplay & lore as base, but with updated graphics & engine.
These 3 would make me nerdgasm over and over and over....and over.
EQ1-AC1-DAOC-FFXI-L2-EQ2-WoW-DDO-GW-LoTR-VG-WAR-GW2-ESO
Starcraft or a Diablo mmo!
Firefly, Forgotten Realms, Greyhawk, Belgariad, Mechwarrior, Starcraft, Diablo .... 40k isgreat too but its in the works already.
Pretty much any of these would have me creaming my nerd jeans.
Only ones I think would be cool at this point are 40K and Dune. Since 40 K is going down the toilet, it will have to be Dune.

Anything that's better than the flavor of what's out on the market today.
I want to be AMAZED
That being said I think a DAOC2 and UO2 would be cool because I never played the originals and have heard many good things about both.
- Post-Apocalyptic mmo with sandbox and wilderness survival gameplay.
- Cyberpunk mmo, similar to Deus Ex 3 and the likes
- Zombie mmo that is actually GOOD.
- Stalker mmo.
Hype train -> Reality
A Terminator ( post Salvation timeline ) MMO
Updated Balders Gate/ Neverwinter Nights MMO
Dragon Age Origns and Mass Effect MMO for Consoles
Starcraft MMO ( only if uses all the races as playable with completly seperate level up / evolution / Bio upgrade chains for different races
I challenged my reflection to a staring contest....4 days later i won
Firefly would be one and larry Niven's smoke ring.

Mine without a doubt (if it was done right) would be Shadowrun or Dungeons and Dragons Desktop

Song of Ice and Fire MMO
Total War MMO set in Europe
DAOC2
Mount & Blade MMO
Dragon Age MMO
(My son speaking to his Japanese Grandmother) " Sorry Obaba, I don't speak Japanese, I only speak human."
Anything based firmly on:
Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines
Ultima Online 2
something in a Lovecraft / Stephen King type vein
OR......
