Where is this many that you speak of?  My guild is exploiding and the two other guilds that we have are exploiding as well.  Massive queues still on some servers despite almost 100 of them out there.

Has some radical statistic come out that contradicts reality that I'm not aware of?

Or are some posters on a MMO forum board constitute many?

You dont seem to understand the difference between the words many and majority.

If 100 people dont like it, some would consider that many. That doesnt in anyway mean MOST people dont like it.

Neither of these posts mean anything do they?

No actually, they don't. So I don't know why you were trying to assert that there weren't many people that didn't like Rift when you just admitted that there are many that don't. ;)

The Rift icing does not make the WoW cake taste any better.

    Important facts:
    1. Free to Play games are poorly made.
    2. Casuals are not all idiots, but idiots call themselves casuals.
    3. Great solo and group content are not mutually exclusive, but they suffer when one is shoved into the mold of the other. The same is true of PvP and PvE.
    4. Community is more important than you think.

Definition of many:  a large indefinite number.

    http://www.thefreedictionary.com/many

    I understand the definition fine.

Some could consider that 100 people not liking it being many would be wrong.

Many suggests that hundreds of thousands of people feel this way.  That suggestion would be incorrect and the reason for my post.  If the word some would of been used, I wouldn't of even posted.  Because it's a fact that some people are not liking the game.

Check the definition of the word smart guy:)

All you have is an opinion, like mine.  But the definition of the word is not debatable.

Actually they were lied to by the devs.

"we're going to have this this and this in the game"

    game launches

"oh sorry, half of those didnt make it in for launch but we're still working on it"...

    Months and motnhs later

"nevermind we're not going to bother putting them in now"

Along with that there was the horrible class balancing due to dev favoritism amongsst other things after launch.

It has actually shaped up a bit though since launch, things run much smoother, theyve added some new content, revamped some of the old content, reqorked a lot of the class balances & added some completely new types of skills to some classes as well as making some changes to the way CCs work and reducing it from being AoE = always win to AoE = win only if you use it smartly by changing the way some AoE skills & tactics work as well as adding alternate routes into places rather than everyone being funneled into 1 choke point.

umm... you said yourself there an INDEFINITE number. If you consider people saying 100 is many as wrong, youre just as wrong. Its all about your perspective. There is no set "this many people = many people".

Btw, im the one who said 100, just as an example. nobody here has ever said "100 people dont like the game, so thats many people". Im sure theres quite a bit more than 100 that dont like it. Even WoW has millions of players, but there are still millions who dont like it either.

It has had one of the best launches I've ever been a part of, and everything seems polished to the extent of an MMO thats already been out for a year. However, I feel I'm bored already, and when I see so many people claiming how much fun they are having I think that I'm missing something.

For those of you who love the game, understand that I really do like it. It is fun, for the most part, and offers a different take on the same stuff. Basically, I love WoW. Once I heard people were saying it is an MMO like WoW, and is really polished, I considered that a GOOD thing. I mean, I've played WoW for years, and the only thing I was really bored of was the lore/story/world ie. I wanted a change in world only. What better way to get that, than to play Rift?

But, when it came down to it, I managed to play since headstart and I find myself getting a little bored. I don't know if it is because it feels like I have done this before, or if I'm just getting bored of MMOs. I'll admit, I'm really excited for GW2 and SWToR because they CLAIM to be bringing something new to the table. I just don't see myself being able to play this for any longer than the free month period. I'm probably just one of the many who will quit after the free month, but the difference with me is I don't know WHY I'm bored. That is why I come to you, I need help figuring out just what the hell has me feeling bored each time I log on.

I'm also hoping there are others here who feel the same way; they like it but can't bring themselves to log on much.

This thread is meant in no way to start an argument between people who like it and dislike it, I think this is a chance for people to voice their opinion. Try to be as constructive as possible. If you are going to come in and just say "the game sucks" with no valid explenation as to why you think so, then don't bother. I want to hear what you think, because it might help me and others in the same situation.

I would say to get some friends are participate in group activities, world PvP is a lot of fun and end game is great. Good luck with GW2 and SWtOR but be prepared to find your self bored and lonely unless you get some friends or join a guild...

    Best regards and happy hunting...
