I run Guild Wars 2 on absolute max settings and it looks amazing.
The characters in GW2 also have far more detail than in SW:TOR! where everything is washed out, because the HeroEngine can't handle it. lol!
Could not disagree more with you OP. the pvp in this game is by far the most accomplished PVP in any MMO ive played and ive ive played a lot of MMO's.

The Structured PvP is as some of the others said like the random arenas in GW1.
The difference is that you have the ranks system and the glory instead of balthazars faction and you can buy/unlock more things for your pvp characters as also a other approach which is more fun in my opinion since everything gives you points for your team and you have spots to capture as also partially assisting npcs (the sharks under the water as example).
The accessibility is very good, the gameplay is fast. I entered as a elementalist and got killed often since they focused on me as a "soft target" often.
However, I still showed them that I can be a "tough cookie" that is not getting killed always THAT easy and killed quite a few myself.
When a team is missing persons, you might end up being the opponent of your friend after a round or a while, instead of still being with your friend teaming up against others because this time if there is a lack on incoming players for the room you are in, it autobalances the teams so both teams can have a chance of wining.
I hope they will add team arenas with a update so people can make teams with friends and guildies and go fight there against other teams.
Guild vs Guild will probably come together with the Guild Halls update and I'm looking forward to it.

You really should try out the WvsWvsW cause its a blast.
You get to fight other players from two different servers at the same time you can fight monsters, partially monster bosses that take a while to kill but drop cool items, explores stuff and gain xp and goodies as also take over towers and keeps for your guild.
I tried the WvWvW and my opinion it is the closest thing to DAoC's RvRvR that I've played.
Yes it has a very high potential to be zergy, but just like when I played a Hib on the Palomides server I've found that it's actually pretty fun to be outnumbered. Just means you have to use you're brains and remember that people who zerg never use their brains, they charge straight ahead. If you remember this and you can get some people to work together you CAN take down tons of zergs. It just requires a little thinking before hand and some people willing to act as bait.
It's all subjective anyways, either you like it or you don't. I didn't read every single post in here but a lot of you are arguing over the meaning of words. It's really quite pointless and it's an arguement nobody can win.
For the record I'm really enjoying playing the WvW combat. I'm glad that I'm on a world that so far has always been the underdog, It's much more fun that way.

Is there any confirmation of that, or you just guessing? Given that I'm only interested in PvP, nothing would make me happier.
