A level playing field has never been easy to achieve in any MMO, you have pointed out the differances why with the like of gold farmers and so on.

But now we have P2W built into MMO's, from day one in both PvE and PvP. We start from the basis there will be no level playing field. And thats where we are now, anyone who thinks we will not be talking in five years time about how understated the P2W was five years ago needs to get their head out of the sand. This is a ongoing process that will only lead to MMO's becoming even more P2W than they now are.

After the Epic Blunder called "Star Trek Online", I won't buy a Cryptic's game ever! As a life-subscriber who only played less than one month, I am sooooooooooooooo pissed off at them.

Your loss, not theirs. I don't think they will miss you. I got a good laugh out of it though. :)

Heh yeah the start not that very well but you should try it again soon. If you got a lifetime you will have a shitload on zen at your disposal, thanks to your monthly zen stipend over the years not to mentioned veteran rewards. :P

I don't think NWO is b2w, the worst you can do is shortcut some stuff like the guy that spent 600Euro+? to hit lvl 60. So what, days later you have a bunch of lvl 60 doing epic dungeons without spending $.
