If by "victory" you mean not being "had" by another gaming publisher, then yes. When STO and TSW charged hundreds for life time subscriptions and then turned around and wen F2P within the 1st year, it left a bad taste in player's mouths. While TESO isn't charging for a LTS, it does seem to have one of the more expensive boxed fees of any MMORPG I've seen. This has NOTHING to do with "getting a job"

If you don't even think it's worth $60, why would you play it for free? Is your time seriously worth nothing to you?

I am sorry but I really don't see the connection you have made between the value of my time and the value of a video game.

In fact, I don't see how time plays a role in this at all except for patience. Explain to me how waiting for a financial value is wasting my time? If the game is good now, it can only be better if I can play it for less money and after it's been improved.

No. My main story has been broken for 1½ weeks and no answer from support, only repeating email how the ticket will close in 120 hrs.  In other ticket they just told to look for patch notes when it's fixed.

The bug? During dialog I fell through ground and got stuck falling. Server threw me out for spamming, log back in, still falling, do /stuck, die and go back to quest NPC: nothing happens.

So no, not in it's current state. I've had few other bugs stopping quests completely also. None of them were related to common bugs that are reported/being fixed.

Some people, myself included value our time as much as money. maybe even more.

Heck, yesterday I spent practically $50 on taxis so I could get where I was going faster. I could have taken the subway, used my subway pass which I already paid for, but the value of me getting to where I wanted to go "faster" far outweighed the money I spent.

That is why people ask that question.

For me, if I wouldn't pay to do something then it's never worth my time.

but it seems you aren't the same way.

Um... too many poll options? This question could be broken down into a simple yes or no answer, and users would be able to elaborate on their responses via the comments section if they saw it fit.

I will play till I am finished with the 150 levels,if there is nothing new after that they can keep it.

will keep it on my pc for new content, then maybe ill buy wildstar just play one month no sub.

if I can just hold on till sep. 9/9/14 for destiny-hope EQN comes early next year and end of the year walords of dreanor.

WTF?, you are the 2nd person on this page who thinks they can comment on my personal life because I answered a question as to why a person would want to wait on this game?

What gives you guys such insight?

I'll buy what I want and I'll pay for what I want and I'll play whatever game I want, when I want to play it.

Who are you (or anyone else) to pass judgement on me for it?

I'm having a lot of fun so far so I'll resub. And I'll keep resibbing on a month by month basis until I'm not having fun and then I won't.

I picked other, so here is my comment.  Yeah Did not really enjoy the game play in Skyrim, even though I played around 200 hrs. So I am not going to even play this game...

I don't know at the moment how I will feel after my remaining 22 days are over. But if I had to decide right now, I would subscribe.

Ooh yeah and your poll is HORRIBLE. I mean super ultra mega horrible. Was it so hard to make a poll with two options? Yes, I will sub. No - I will not. Why are there so many options. Really unprofessional and bordering to useless. You have also phrased the options terribly.

No offense, but you're talking bollocks.

Many people were forced to buy time cards in order to activate their "free" days, so they are indeed subbed.

So are you saying that the question/poll is only for people who have already "subbed" via time cards? Because all of us who have credit/debit cards have NOT subbed to anything. All MMOs practice this. It was always like this for P2P. The game also clearly stated this on the box! Either have a credit/debit card or you have to buy a timecard. Then again who doesn't have a credit/debit card?

Ooh yeah, and what the fuck is with that option - I haven't bought the game. I mean that means that anyone who hasn't bought the game can vote which means that this will inflate all the % figures. If you have 500 who bought it and 500 who didn't, even if all those 500 want to sub you will get 50%. Seriously how bad is this poll?

Mission in life: Vanquish all MMORPG.com trolls - especially TESO, WOW and GW2 trolls.

So you are the same way? you asked him a question regarding equating time to money. I answered because I could; because it's a statement/question that comes up around here often. I then noted that this wasn't how you were built, or "it seems you aren't the same way'.

There was no judgment, no attack, just an acknowledgement that not everyone is built the same way but pointing out where the difference lies

    So relax francis.

Nope.. not worth a sub given all the problems. If they iron out the bugs and make game more stable i might consider it but for now nope, i already canceled the sub.

I will play for the remaining days and see how it goes.

How is asking a question the same as passing judgement?

So far, I'm just not seeing this game as the biggest MMORPG to come along in years, and that I must put this game on my absolute number one priority to experience list. See, I'm only mildly piqued. Sure maybe at some point I wouldn't mind experiencing this game, but not so much that I feel the experience must be had at whatever the boxed fee plus a subscription fee is.  But then, maybe, if I like it, I can then buy it.

The idea that my time is valuable to me is exactly the reason I haven't spent money on ESO yet. Just because some people find the game to be worth it's cost, doesn't mean that everyone else is going to see if from that perspective. So yeah, time is money, but what's the value of the trade for one's time? Maybe ESO just doesn't live up to that value for some?

I plan on playing at last until the end of the year. Maybe beyond depending on the pve content that is added.

I disagree, I think it's a good representation of Elder Scrolls game-play and a solid MMORPG.

    Have to agree completely F2Pelerin118

Personaly I feel and I don't have to be right but as a Elder Scrolls fan and MMORPG fan I feel Zenimax has mixed both very well together

On topic: Got 90 day's. For now I am enjoying the game allot.

Six to nine months, it will be free to play. Its not that good a game and they will start losing subs after the initial surge.  The game makers still aren't listening to the players. For gods sakes, it doesn't even have an AH never mind housing. And its still linear pve world with pvp being the ultimate goal at the end.

Went to my sisters since she has the game and i still cant decide to buy or not she showed me a little about the game, shes only level 18 but i got the jist of it,first thing i noticed was the graphics very nice indeed, she has one of them ips screens and it looks stunning,i also thought the ui looked very much like gw2 lol but she showed me how you can upgrade spells etc which is different.

i asked her about pvp and she says shes not into pvp so she hasn't been there, from what i gathered its a very pvp oriented game so im not so sure if you can just pve?? she seems to think she can.

I heard there isnt a holy trinity in the game but she assured me there is and looking at chat (people looking for tank)and the lfg finder you can choose tank healer or dps, so there must be?

i do like questing and slow leveling , as i find the questing and leveling the most fun part in a mmorpg and se says thats how the leveling is in ESO

ill give it another week i think i take peoples opinions/reviews into consideration quite heavily when deciding to buy a new game and ESO hasnt had the best of those.

Yeah but falling through the world, constant crashes, bank erasing items in it, etc are pretty big bugs... WoW had bugs but nothing quite like falling into the void by what I know.

not trying to argue with you or anything but in wow there was indeed bugs that made you fall through the world i remember one especially  when you got feared sometimes you would fall through the world , not to mention getting underneath stormwind :P, and wow still crashes even now:D i been subbed since 2005.

but that doesnt mean companies putting out buggy half done games should be tolerated but such is the way of mmorpg launches its our own fault really for accepting it as teh norm

i already subbed for 6 months as well, it is definitely the best MMO since Vanguard for me
