unless they put in all the races and the map from the game this wont be the great warhammer fantasy game for me. i know its asking a lot but you can't have some stuff and not have the others imho.

The only racial picture they have released is technically concept art - technically not. In the plot summary in Newsletter 3, they posted a picture of a Dark Elf, but that drawing is the art on the Dark Elf Codex (Which is a rulebook for the race).
Expect to see in game shots probably over the summer, and most concept art should be released in the next several months.
as a veteran of the warhammer 40k and warhammer fantasy tabletop games, there is so much content and expecatational requirements these developers have to look up to. such as spells, runes, armours, power ups, etc. then there are the world's maps. which are in some rule books of the tabletop games... hopefully the developers will look at these and adhere them to their product.
but whatever is in the tabletop game, muct be in the MMO otherwise there will be HEAPS of arguments, contradicitons etc within the ranks of nastalgia warhammer fanatics like myself.

Well as far as what will be available upon launch of the game I might go with Dwarf since I always wanted to try a Dwarf army. I would hope they would have an expansion to include the Bretonians.
I'll be playing an Orc as I played them on the tabletop in the past. After hearing that you'll be able to tell how experienced (high of level) a player is by visual appearance only, the lure of seeing a 12 foot tall orc stumbling into battle is making me all giddy.
Though, if the chance arose, I still think I'd play an Ogre. But I understand that there would probably be way too many balancing issues making them a playable race.
Definately an orc,or maybe a goblin but I'm more on the orc side. I'm not interested in Warhammer tabletop games that much but I have always liked how the orcs look like in it
I'm a little torn about this one. In 40k I collect almost exculsivly Imperium armies. I have Blood Angles, Imperial Guard, Demon Hunters. So I suppose I am a little pro-human there. In Warhammer though my first army was High Elves. So it is toss up between High Elves and Humans for me. I think High Elves will win out in this case though.
Wood Elf Wardancer or Waywatcher X-D or a treeman Whoohoo ! or a orc Black ORc or maybe a Chaos with the mark of nurgle X-D ! i love the Warhammer universe so much that i think i could play anything if they manage to make a playable game that is but as i play Wood Elves on the table top thats gotta be my first choice Wardancer , waywatchers are my favorites but i dont think the bow shit is gonna work to good in PvP ^^
Edit: btw i think mythic is gonna make all the races.. :P after some time atleast...
Hope realm balance doesnt become a problem...Chaos is #1 at the moment, but if it stays this popular till the release I will most likely pick some other race. (who likes to be on the zerg side anyway)
