I really dig eq2, its fun and the stories dive you in for a ride, and i think the community is awesome. So if you do choose eq2 to play look me up im haggly on the bazaar server, my guild is order of storms, good times, good people, i have no true complaints about the game.

Not sure where that came from. I have a 70 coercer on Lucan D'Lere server.
What they do.
Mez single targets
Mez group targets
Provide power regen for group
Provide single target hate buff and single target melee dps buff.
Class defining trait is charming mobs, which allows you to take control (somewhat) of an enemy. The higher level you are the longer you can keep them under control lvl 61 charm = 30 mins. The pets can break on their own sooner kind of random type thing. With the right pet and highest quality charm spell I can out dps just about any class, without a pet I barely parse ahead of healers.
IMO it is one of the most challenging classes to play in a non-raid setting because of having to use a pet that you control, you can't make it cast spells or melee, that is random, some pets have better "scripts" than others.
In a raid scenario we are mana-bots and buffers, charm and mez are pretty much useless in raids.

when you say raid, what do you mean? like in wow? many peoples going in a instances killing HARDE bosses?

but wont they be harder to detect then? and against NPC, wont the remove the aggro?
In addition to their fun spell Rangers also get a limited bird pet at level 65 that drains aggro from non fighters in the rangers group. Limited pets can’t be controlled the way a normal pet can, and disappear as soon as their target dies but in some cases they can be used to hold aggro and most are an effective long term DoT.
All scouts get an evac, which removes the group from the fight they are in and teleports them to a safe place in the zone. Wizards and Wardens get an evac as well.
Stealth itself doesn’t remove aggro, but most scout classes do have abilities that reduce aggro. They all have an ability called elude and some, like assassins have abilities that transfer hate towards the assassin into hate for someone else in their group, usually the main tank.
about how much does the KOS game that includes the origanal EQ2 game cost?
is there fun/good pvp?
is there a trial when i buy KOS(the one with EQ2 too) ? how many days does the trial include? do i need a CC for the trial( the one with the originale game, not the internett one) ?

There are a few other things to do besides raiding in end-game eq2 but not many.
