havent played games your comparing to but the only online turn based game im familiar with and have played quite a bit is Atlantica online. It's F2P and theres a ton of content i guess you could check that out

i'd say a significant amount of ppl still play GW. though if you haven't played it at all i'd recommend doing the trial first to see if u like it since it's practically all instancing. if your into pvp i'd say its probably the most balanced ive ever…
