In case you haven't read it yet, they announced that they've found a US publisher as well. The release has now been moved from Quarter 2 to autumn to allow for a simultaneous wordwide release. Open Beta should start a few weeks before that.

You get tearing because your monitor can't keep up with your video card. Just turn vsync on in the games settings and it will take care of it.
