I enjoyed both PoE 1 and 2 for a good while each. Tyranny is one of the few games I liked enough to play completely through twice. I love Tim Cain and he is hands-down my favorite developer and plan on buying multiple copies …
Not going to lie ... I'm wondering logically how you can defend Jessica and be a decent human being? She was *clearly* in the wrong with the facts that are out there. She was mean to a fan who was CLEARLY being polite and constructive with her. N…

The MMORPG genre hasn't gotten worse. They've tried to improve the more painful parts of the genre, but in doing that removed some of the charm. Having travel be limited sucked, but also added an economy for taxi classes. It's a bit weird becaus…
I really don't think there are that many people willing to drop $1K + for an unfinished product, but then again there are people willing to drop $495 for a pair of crappy shoes. Part of the problem here with people claiming they're willing to "inve…
The one thing that really irritates me about the MMORPG community is that people expect games to be 100% their ideal game or it sucks and they have to tell everyone.. Just shut up. Can we actually see what Pantheon is like at launch before saying i…
Saying no due to too many downsides. That and MMORPG fans are still in a bad mindset of expecting every game to be their perfect game... so all the downsides would scare people away.

Success in the MMORPG genre is defined much differently now than in the past. I'm not an expert but this is what I observed since I began playing MMORPGs in 1999.
It used to be considered successful to hav…
I'm surprised that with as much experience as you all have with MMO's that you cannot separate difficulty from tedium. Let's say you created a game like EQ1 today.... no quest markers... week long spawns.... non instanced dungeons; it would flop...…
OP... it's their server that you play on for free. You are basically arguing that "it's unfair that someone said something mean to me on their property while I eat their food".
If you don't like it... tough. There's no argument... because it does…
Gotta love people who think that anything popular must be garbage and for the sheep. As if anyone who disagrees is mindless. Hate to break it to you guys... your overly polarized views are why the mmorpg genre has stunk.
I was reading their page.... I can't bring myself to play MMORPGs that change your skill set / class based on weapon you're wielding.
It just makes no sense.

This basically... everything else is kind of a meh reason.

Why should it be more popular?
Maybe the question could be - What holds it back from being more popular?
But then you could ask that of any mmo out there.
