I also think it depends on the game death penalties fit some games really good. In WoW though i thought the short run back was just right since it's more of a fast paced game.
I loved the death penalty in asheron's Call. I thought it was perfect, the only time it really got annoying was if you wanted to log off then you died.
But some of the best fights were helping people recover corpses.
I do hope they make another dnd mmo. At the same time though i dont want it to mirror every game thats out. I enjoyed DDO and was at least happy they tried something a little different.
I have an average system, the main thing was whle i was moving i would turn and it would stutter, or i would be walking along and it would pause for a second. I had it on balanced with a few other features tweaked. I am able to run most other games …

Hmm i didnt know eq2 had shared dungeons, maybe i will have to give it a try. i really like wandering around and finding a cave or something somewhere and going in and finding random people to group up with. is it anything like that?
