If a MMO wants to charge a sub fee, then do away with the box price. make it free for 30 days from the start, restricting trade and mail for players who do not sign on for a subscription. Make the subscription $7 - $10.

GW2 could be a decent co-op game or two player but many features would be worthless without a large group of human players. a tiny morsel of any MMO couldwork as singleplayer.
