So I will wait and see what 3 months brings me.
I understand your reasoning, and don't disagree with it, but the problem is, what if everyone follows this type of reasoning? Or even 50% of people? The game will fail even if it's good. Som…
I played last night before the update, so I haven't tried today. As for uninstalling the game, when I did a fresh install of it a few weeks ago, updating it was nearly impossible. It kept getting an error and I had to use a VPN to download it, whi…
Thanks alot for all the replies, I really appreciate the insight and advice. Given that a Sage and Priest are similar, I think I'll give that a shot but keep Paladin in mind for tanking later.
Thanks for the advice. I'll do my best to be "good" but I'm new to the game so I'm sure I won't be good right out of the shoot. Should I start doing dungeons ASAP?
I played CoH from Beta until about a year ago when I quit because I couldn't stand the incarnate system. Its rather ironic that a friend of mine just pulled me back into the game a week ago. The first thing that struck me was how dead this game w…
I really like how CoX is doing their F2P model. Paying members actually lose NOTHING and in fact gain in the deal (Paragon points, Rewards, 1 server transfer per month). So if you're already paying for the game, why quit, you get more. My questio…
I think your point about everyone picking from the same pool is where my problem comes from. Its removing the diversity in the game. I know the argument can be made that these powers take 2 min to recharge, but they hit like a ton of bricks!, or h…

With the whole Ring war thing I'm hoping for the Lantern powerset, but then again they may wait until the movie comes out so who knows.
I don't think this game will be aroun…
There are more ways to implement crafting into a game than how WoW and other MMO's function, with nodes and other gathering places. Crafting materials can be found through fighting, breaking apart other gear you find, etc. It doesn't need to be so…
I think you're a bit of a negative Nancy here Kopo. I believe this game is going to have a pretty good launch. How many subs it keeps after 30 days will be interesting, but from everything I've read I think it has enough to keep people interested …
I agree with you Val, this is one of the strengths of DCUO. This way of opening up gear and appearance is a really cool idea!
The only thing that I don't like is that you can only have 3 colors in your costume set total.
So once you've had a piece of gear on you can select to "show" that piece at any time even if you don't have it in your inventory? Thus expanding your customization?

OR, spend $20 and buy a freakin gamepad. Whomp, problem solved with the clicking for PC gamers.
Not really, if you don't use a gamepad as well as a computer…

You passed judgement on a game after 30 minutes of play? Now I haven't played it yet, and what you say MAY be accurate but I can't believe you've passed judgement on an MMO after only 30 minutes. If all i played was 30 minutes of WoW, I might have…
I'm in the same boat. As a Cox player that is looking at CO as something to move to (DC just doesnt look good...yet) the cell shading has me very skeptical. I've actually never like any cell shaded game, ever. I'm not ready to give up on CO, but …
