• What's your laptop specs? Tales weaver,maple story and dungeon fighter online, don't need a high end rig to run them. Lineage II is sort of like Ragnarok in terms of gameplay but i'm not sure if your laptop can run it.

• If you don't mind the outdated ui and graphics you could give Everquest a try and maybe Final Fantasy XI. Guild Wars is another game with a large world, it's buy to play without any subscription fees but doesn't have any sort of housing.

• Darkfall and Fallen Earth might be what you're looking for, both games lets you cutomize your character. Darkfall is an open pvp game with some pve content and griefing is common, so you might want to join a guild if you plan on playing that game.…

• You could try out Darkfall but its graphic aren't that great compare to lineage 2. It has the sort of pvp you're looking for but with a different penalty system.
