Not sure what you are talking about.
AO was a great game.
The game only had two substantial problems in my oinion:
(1) the learning curve made it hard for some to get into it (the learning curve was also a plus, as the complex nano etc syst…
WoW is, without doubt, a great game.
I am personally ready for something different. I have done the leveling over and over and am simply not a fan of the endgame.
However, I would recommend WoW to anyone looking for an MMORPG.
For now, I would have to say NWN. That being said, I purchased the BG
series and Plane of Torment at bargain basement prices recently. Some
day, when I catch up on all of the other more recent games I purchased
(like FF XII, etc) I hope to give them…

You must admit ... this is ironic from a different standpoint: For years the 18 hour a day players criticized the more "casual", or at least not "hardcore" hardcore players, saying that "It's just a fact of life that you can't have the 10000x Supa A…
2) Yeah theyre huge enough. At least horizontally. Buildings cant be entered, one of the reasons I left in the first place -- what kind of city has buildings that can't be entered. (Besides missions) it made it hard for me to roleplay. Because m…
The game I miss most ... Meridian 59. Sure, it is still around but it is NOT the "old" Meridian 59. (I.e. the community is not what it was, the game is not what it was).
I had years and years of experience playing BBS games and the like, but Meridi…
You are misunderstanding the increase. Heavy is X% higher than the previous Heavy armor ... and Light is Y% better than previous Light armor. The fact that light is Y% better than previous light does not mean it exceeds the mitigation of heavy.
If you mean "people that post more" should have a better chance, that is a bad idea. At the end of the day you would have tons of lamers spamming to get their counts up. I rarely post because 1) I am more of a reader and 2) There is no sense in spam…
I come to this site everyday (often multiple times a day) and read the stories and the message boards. I am not entirely sure I understand why I should be restricted in contests because I choose not to post a lot. Besides, what you are suggesting ma…
Haven't heard a word here yet. Can't wait to participate in the beta though. As a working guy, I was hoping to come home and find the beta invite so I could DL tonight and play tomorrow night.
Oh well, nothing wrong with a little patience!

The real issue is that people like to live in "nostalgia" ... and it is true that, at least for the purposes of romanticism, nothing is better "than the first time".
In many ways I can recall old BBS games that I "remember" more fondly than some cu…
Wow (no pun intended), this is a great leap in services being offered to players and guilds. It works great for Sony because they 1) make some more money (on premium stuff) and 2) keep more people on their "sites" rather than going to third parties.…
