Glad to help! I am so shocked they put that fadein/out ingame. Funcom explain it or let people know about how to fix it - you are ruining your own game by having this... Now the rest of you - try it, you won't regret it.

The answer for you is easy: LOTRO Try the free trial: http://www.lotro.com (look a bit down on the right side for thr trial link) It got great lore, looks sweet and plays good. Choose an RP server and you are home.

For me LOTRO is not a game you rush to the highest level, like WoW has become. People that are hardcore levellers/raiders should not treat LOTRO the same way. For me it is a more casual game. It will evolve over time. I really hope the developers do…

Feel what you want about WoW, but if you want decent playing environment, choose an RP or RP/PVP server. Anything else will bring too many leet kids.

Yes, LOTRO is good, trust me (under NDA). I am playing Vangaurd also and the immersion in LOTRO is SO much better.

I think the people you call haters are just fed up with the game. They expected a standard setting game, and all they see is a EQII copy with really high computer demands. If the game had been a bit more unlike EQII in the graphics department …

Well, the beta keys are from Eurogamer, but the freaking files are not. Trying out the torrent now, maybe I have better luck.
