All it really has over standard mmo's is combat. Eventually it will get stale too, only question of when.

My biggest gripes for Lotro were mostly that character graphics were kinda meh..too sterile... like playing with dolls. And i found the classes kinda boring to play, no fancy tricks that would keep your interest up.
