I have been playing MMORPG's now for over a decade and also administrating in another gaming community for roughly seven years now. I truly enjoy the MMORPG genre and love discussing old and new titles alike.
I -might- be OK with flying again if they gave us a 100 yd range rocket launcher to force people down on PVP servers. Strong emphasis on MIGHT, as there are other reasons no flying is good.
Love the no flying. It doesn't make much sense from a lore standpoint, and is yet another "not-feature" of WoD, but ultimately it makes the world feel more alive, makes exploration more interesting and I run into enemy players all the time when I w…

It's not worth starting to play. It will cost a lot of time and too much money to catch up or be competitive.
can do it for zero money spent and a go…
Glad to hear this! Having fun in WoW and definitely looking at EVE again, but WS has been on my mind since I left. That game's combat was really great and if they strengthen a lot of the other aspects, I'd love to play again.

It's funny, the questing mentioned is pretty much what questing is in even the most successful themepark MMO's. I see it mentioned that the way some games implement these quests are what make them enjoyable and I agree. If implemented poorly and n…
I wasn't aware that AA was ever considered the savior. First time I've heard such a thing. That being said, it's a solid game that certainly brings some new things to the genre while also using some tried and true mechanics. So much of this is su…
Need to see more than they have shown to want to throw any money their way. Something other than a trailer with no gameplay. Game sounds very cool, like something I'd want to play, but there are a lot of other sci-fi MMORPG products coming our way…
I was one of the biggest advocates for WildStar but it seems to me Carbine has made one misstep after another. So many are disappointed with the game. At its core, I still think it can be a great game and has a good skeleton mechanics-wise. Howev…
