Im currently playing the Live version since Monday. To get the 3 1/2 day start all you needed was a level 15 character in beta. Once you hit level 15, you automatically got a emote and a certificate icon stating that you met the requirements to play…
Not only do you have to preorder, but you have to level your character to 15 during beta to be eligible for the 3 1/2 day head start. It was said in plain English on their website.
