well , there isn't alot of classes since not all the classes is implented at launch but they'll come soon and i'm guessing you're a hybrid player

i think the renown gear are based on tiers , so when your renown rank gets higher you have to move on a higher tier to get better gear also when you kill a rival player , they have a chance to drop a random generated loot depending on their rank
