The next piece of the big picture will be revealed at E3 most likely. Just a short month away. It will almost certainly be available thi…
I have a feeling it won't be the kind of game I want to play by the time it releases. My hunch is the game will taste like "2017's casual grab bag mmo"... or whatever year the game is released in.
Bungie's agreement with Activision requires all Destiny titles after the first to have a PC version. Google the doc if you're interested. They haven't said anything about the first in a positive light at all - I doubt it will see a PC version.
An MMO with actual community interaction. Classes that require a time investment AND that all depend on each other.
The content comes from the interactions of the players - just like real life.
I'm excited for a few reasons. The engaging combat and interesting focus on keeping the gameplay active at all times... and how much fun the classes look. I'm excited to play an Engineer in a mech suit!.
I'm also looking forward to see how the c…
I find these abilities necessary to really make classes and the players playing them feel unique and valued. And it goes a long way towards role-playing and world building.
I have an environment in my lab that uses chained LEAP sensors combined with the Oculus to develop in CAD. It can also be used for all sorts of stuff.
Judging by the way you're talking about the tech I doubt you have the prowess to configure suc…

I think we can all agree that GW2 was far from perfect in how it handled classes. I'm sure we can all agree a pure trinity system isn't the way we should be heading.
But in a game like mmos people need defined roles/specialization and they all need…

An excellent post on a topic that fascinates me. Programming most intensive applications for multiple cores is usually an incredibly complicated process. Sometimes things flow logically mathematically such as a thread diverges or in order to run a n…
It seems like they're walking into some of the pit falls of Guild Wars 2. I wonder if the classes have passives or anything like that. I'm generally curious as to how it will unfold.
I rather like the ability to customize my skills as I level rather than just getting statistically better versions.
Ya know?
Maybe my instant nuke with a large CD applies a root, or a dot, or resets the CD on a teleport, etc. But I want to make su…
In my opinion it's about the latest consistency of a developers games in relation to quality and my personal enjoyment. The more they wander from my perceived enjoyment and quality the less effort I'll take to give them more of my time. Cryptic has …
It's a pretty big correction. One is what I have... the impulse to have everything in my life at right angles and base 2.
The other is something completely different.
