Lineage 2 has an excellent PvP system, but how it all turns out really depends on your server politics. Some servers get all the action, while some get none at all.

I agree that Lineage 2 has the grind right on, but it is way too tedious. Grinding can be made to be much more fun than killing 10000 mobs for 1 level while farming for gold and then using up time setting up a player sh…

MMO's have always had some form of grind some just do a better job of masking it ok?
I'm glad NC Soft is going ahead with their plans to release Lineage III. Pe…

Even if I do see them irl, they might be a Cylon in disguise!
As much as I'll like to proclaim myself free of any biasness towards any gender, I sometimes am more inclined to help a female, though I wouldn't go out of my way to do so and shower them with free gear. That being said, there isn't anything that I'…
I typically go with good grammar as a personal preference. However, in some situations, what is best is to conform with your immediate community. Imagine a CS match where everyone speaks in 1337 speak, you're not going in there and start typing full…
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion would be well suited for you I think. It has a well written lore and the storyline progresses very neatly, and at the same time, you don't necessarily have to follow it. In some aspects, it's also like a sandbox world,…
Is it any different from games that are centered around quests, which tell you to kill x number of mobs, journey halfway across the world, and turn them into another guy? The only difference between the two is WHEN the XP is given to you. "Grind bas…

lol i hate to break it to you but there is a large percentage of the community that are children whos parents may not pay 30 dollars a month. Personally Im 16 and I have to pay for whatever I play, I always have, and I wouldnt be able to play if it…
I didn't manage to locate a good public persistent world for NWN 2 the last time I checked (think bit over a month ago). Most were either private and you had to contact them to get password for the server or public but still heavily under constructi…
It's not just the game industry, just about every software has a draconian EULA, and if we seriously considered the terms put forward, none of us would probably use any of it. We've learnt to ignore the and just accept the EULA which is why companie…
It's a generalize problem that almost all MMOs suffer from. A new expansion comes out that renders all your previous gears obsolete, you grind/raid back to where you were previosuly, quit, wait for the next expansion. Personally, I don't have a solu…

The only way I see it happening is to have 1 dedicated "premium" server with a ton of dedicated gm's interacting constantly with the smaller player base (couple thousand max).
I think that'd be bad for the player c…
I wouldn't pay $30 per month for any current MMO right now. That's almost like buying a new game every month, which I would very much rather do if that was the case. That maybe due to me living outside of the US/EU, in Singapore, and the amount woul…
The outfit customization for armors/weapons gets lesser as the game progresses and eventually everyone looks more or less the same, though you always walk around in your formal wear which you get a series of quests later, or some other accessories l…
