  • I missed the celebration weekend and didn't have the opportunity to try the game. Does anybody have a buddy key for me? I've been looking for a new MMO to play for a while now and TSW definitely sounds interesting. I'd really appreciate it.
  • Just because you have issues doesn't mean *everybody* else does. The current status of the server is a far cry from what was happening before the big fix. We have peaks of 800 players without any lag (the occasional lag spike happens, but it's relat…
  • The user peak was around 800 players today and the server handled it very well. There was little, if any, lag to speak of. A huge improvement over the past few days.
  • By the way, the problem was fixed (there's a devblog entry about it) and the player cap was removed. The server doesn't lag at all anymore. The server was at a peak of 800 players tonight ... so a huge improvement. I can only recommend this game to …
  • Originally posted by Cabe2323 I kind of know what the OP means.  It is the same feeling I have had with almost every single MMO since Dark Age of Camelot came out.  Everquest 2 - Vanguard - Age of Conan - CoH/CoV - Guild wars - EvE - D&…
  • So 6 million hardcore players are subscribed to World of Warcraft. Yeah, sure.

  • It doesn't suck. We're just bored of it and many of us who are bored of it have nothing else to play (and no lives to speak of), so we just complain about the game and hope it will change to our liking. Fat chance, that.
  • ... and you say this as if anybody cared. I consider this place quiet enjoyable, actually ... all I do is avoid the trollish threads (read: a lot of them), avoid contentious topics, and watch threads with well-thought out and logical starting posts …
  • I haven't read the thread, so it's probably been said before. It's probably a combination of WotLK advertising (beta server up, all the gaming sites talking about the talent, gameplay mechanic changes, new class, new instances, etc.) and the fact …
  • I might be resubbing too but I don't know why. I guess I'm just that bored. Fscking level grind ...
  • Even if he doesn't explain ... I can sort of get where he's coming from. I'm in the trial, I'm at level 8, and I'm just so bored of questing that I haven't logged in since yesterday. And I started the trial yesterday.
  • Planetside is a great game and the posts before me all agree on that. It's just a classic case of the developer fumbling up and making a mess of things, then taking months, if not years, to fix the problems and the imbalances (introduced with BFR's)…

  • Ah, fun. Hook, line, and sinker? Didn't think to check the link.
  • 1) WoW, when it was new and fresh (I loved the first month) 2) Planetside (back in its day, it had great teamwork and really epic battles with game mechanics which favoured skill and not who had the highest level ... brilliant) 3) D&DO (fun …
  • D&DO has classes and yet you can't tell me it doesn't have absolutely brilliant character customization. If you're looking to improve current generation MMO's, this is the wrong tree to bark up because this is the least of their problems.
  • Stop backpeddling. Pick an argument and stick to it. First, it was the beta testers, then you said for yourself that the devs don't take the feedback (and only want to release asap for money), and now you're saying we should lay the blame on the "no…
  • So why blame the beta testers? You know for yourself that the developers are at fault.
