I watched this video with the sound off, and the lady on the right there just seemed to be staring at me, and doing this the whole time:
"Rawr ranr rawr rawr nram nram rawr.."
There's no such thing as 'Pay To Win'. You can't 'win' at MMOs. Where did PTW even come from?!
In fact, when did mashing buttons in a video game faster than others become a measure of achievement in life?
Neverwinter is a perfectly decent game if …
I think it's rather decent, considering you don't have to pay a damn cent/penny/chocolate button to play it!
Also, the Foundry is a system that all MMO developers should have these days. Making stuff in the Foundry is the giggedy.
For those wanting to play in peace offline, they are screwed.
So..
Always online DRM. Combined with the €60 price tag for a digital download (or €60 in the shop) puts me off buying any new games anymore.
To be honest, I think it's quite rude of p…
I don't know why people keep bitching about STO. I log in once or twice a week and have a great time. Foundry access, ships, two characters, and I haven't paid a single cent.
Then again, I'm a PVEer and roleplayer. I don't PVP, and I don't give …
I like this guy. He makes a lot of very solid points about the nature of internet goers, and MMORPG.com's forums. Actually, I think he might be the first person to speak openly about how developers really view forums like MMORPG.com.
So he got i…

I don't get it..
Taking time out of the game to use my phone to perform an in-game task.. seems very inefficient.
Also..
Is this even legal? Looks like some guy getting money off of GW2's IP. If that's the case, why is MMORPG promoting t…

Why weep? This is actually pretty reasonable as a service I think...

Renton, I've seen you start at least three of these threads about different games.
My honest advice would be to check out the features offered by each game, read a few reviews, and then just throw down some money.
Considering this doesn't look to be of comparable size to the considered 'norm' for what makes a paid expansion, it seems rather unfair to charge subscribers for what really just looks like a little extra content.
Free for subbies and 10 bucks for …

I dunno.. I ready it just now, and it seemed like Gamespy were attacking the guy unnecessarily over the same minor issues. He was pretty blunt about it. Maybe he could have said things in a different way, but Gamespy were being a litle bit douchey a…
