Nah. It's pretty much the same deal that Kutaragi got over the PS3 debacle. Push out the guy in charge, give him some flowery BS title to placate the ego, then ignore him when it comes to the direction of the actual product.

No, this is just a creative way to pay him a severance bonus w/o actually involving him in the game anymore.
Its not the keeping him out of the game i have issue, its the part with him getting paid. I'm sure those that were let go recieved the usual 2wks+severance pkg, Brad, however, shouldn't get a dime more than he already has and I'm sure its a damn sight more than the others that were let go.
Also since the staff was let go I assume that includes the viral marketing team, you guys can come back and join us in the reality based community now.
