there will be A LOT, thats always at a mmo launch but now theres even more ppl cause quite a few trusted the game cause of all the hyping
tbh before launch i thought they could hold on to about 250k subs after 3 months now i guess they will get around 100k. still a nice number but everyone anticipated more a few weeks ago
well at least they sold a lot of boxes, im glad for funcom since i loved AO a lot. however i cant see buying me buying this game anymore, WAR seems the next option... or i need to step into the world of WoW
theres just not much more on the mmo market atm..

Nope , i love the game
my 3rd day, not goin to pay any more game card, back to WOW,
main reason is its poor game style and bad control. and graphic is not as good as I have expected, looks like some fancy dx10 effects on an old pre-2000 3D engine.
Doesn t excite me to log on at all anymore. Level 38 barb and some alts. It s just average at best IMO.
During my 3 days game play, crating various chars, still cannot find any fun about it, at least, they cannot even offer a good in game control system.

Yes I did cancel my subscription to the inferior, old, outdated game World of Warcraft... that was the question right?

darckfall will probably be worse than vanguard ( if its even gonna be released) the team behind it absolutely suck
It simply does not interest me anymore.
I know you're not supposed to judge something based on only a week of play but...
Why should I keep playing if I'm not having fun?
I'll play what ever is left of my free 30 days.
Only thing that keeps me logging in daily are those awesome graphic details you can see from afar, like looking to the horizon from a mountain top. Truly awesome. But that's it, gameplay is mostly just meh. And the instancing... if AoC fails hard, there's one good thing coming out of it, and that's that game companies will see that what people want is an OPEN GAME WORLD.
I like it and I'm going to continue to play it.
I was going to upgrade my system soon anyway so it will be a nice thing for AoC. At the moment my PC is doing its best in running AoC with rather good results.
Had enough of WoW and am definitely never coming back to it.....
I mean, the game looks alright,
but seriously, I cannot stand with the game style, mostly game control part any more.

I love the control scheme and have no problem being successful with it and the pvp on the ffa servers is a blast. There are a lot of bugs that need fixing but I'm still having fun.
I am looking at this the way I look at a single player game. I will play the free thirty and consider it a fun ride. The game just does not seem to have long term appeal for me.

I canceled, but I do not regret buying it. Because I really wanted to try it. Its just not what I really expected, and I was getting pretty pissed off about some of the technical issues/bugs.
Well...hopefully Warhammer is good.
You are having control problems..... is it that you don't like them???? hope so.... because to me the controls are very easy to figure out and to use... WASD + mouse..... the standard.
The fighting style is a nice touch and it is definitely not difficult.....
I'll play my 30 free days. Then I will come back if any of my friends reach 80 and tell me the guild PvP rocks and that the end PvE is superb.
Im in midgame now and there is absolutely NOTHING new with this game, except for tits.
I think Funcom made a big mistake when they decided not to now do something new and fresh and instead just try to take away WoW's customers.
too much instancing not enuf open world.. technical issues with it running on some computer... same ol same ol' MMO not enuf to keep me playing....

What else is there to go back too I ask you? I been there and done almost everything in past MMORPGs..
I am in it full time till Warhammer Online comes out.
AoC has alot to offer and this only being the 1st week, I am having a blast with my guild and taking time to enjoy the game and not power level through to 80.
