Thats awesome. I leveled a female pally in WoW and never pretended to be a girl, but people DID assume i was and treated me more kindly (unless they were saying i had nice tits or an ass...wtf pixels??). Some dude even helped me do the majority of my pally mount quest because he thought he was helping a noobie girl. LOL whatever its there fault not mine.
My friend DID roll a female shaman once on my account just to see what he could get if he acted like a girl. He talked to some guy in the starting area for like an hour while only getting to level 8, and the dude straight up logged onto his main and gave 60gold to us just for throwing in a bunches of hehes and :P. Never logged onto that shaman again.
If your taking advantage of people based on sex alone, then it's their fault for falling for it. You must play with some lonely, lonely people.

I myself have done what the OP has. Roll a female toon, roleplay as one and not telling a guy who believes me to be female in RL my real gender. Be it out of greed or roleplay, it's really upto him how he decides to play his characters. By you people saying he is disgusting, needs a life and have deep issues, are just saying that you want him to play the game YOUR way and to stop taking advantage of YOU.
So no, I don't see anything unethical about his behavior. He benefits only in game for what he does and it's just that, a game.

In some MMOs, certain class only with female character and certain class only for male, especially in F2P so the server do not need to keep huge storage space to remember every free player. However, people knows that nearly 95% are male players because no other choice but they still feel awe about female players.I guess this is because the real life influence.
Some players play female character and pretended they are female but they talk even more aggressive than a normal male, I guess he expect handicap. No one will argue or need to prove his gender, but male taking advantages from being a female character sux.
I done that once I played a girl ALT in SWG back in the day because if guys think you're a girl they give you free stuff and discounts of goods, I got quite alot of stuff and used a voice changer program on TS so they actually believed me with some pictures of some model. I would like to point out that the OP doesn't just play a female character and accept the goodwill thrown at him. He has constructed an elaborate persona which he adopts while playing this character, one which has evolved over time to become more convincing to himself and others. He even includes sexual remarks in his repartee. Some people here still defend him, despite all of that, but this is entirely expected.
As I predicted, the other closet fetishists at this forum have rallied to your aid, OP. That was indeed what you secretly desired from this thread: acceptance and validation. I prefer to play on Role Play servers because then you can play a girl if you want to and most of the other players just except you as that without assuming you're a girl in real life or even wondering about it. If I meet a girl avatar in an MMO I always assume whilst playing that they are a girl, however, I never really concern myself with their real life persona. If I play a girl avatar I don't like people asking my real life gender, not because I want to fool them and pretend to be a girl, but I just don't want to break the characterisation. Still, at times I do have to tell players because I notice they are just trying too hard with the complements etc.
Although the OP actions are rather deviant I don't have too much sympathy for the desperate losers that fall for it. It's just not possible to protect idiots from their own idiocy all the time. Those lonely poor men out there should be more careful because this happens alot. by both, real female and male. It's just one type of roleplaying style to con people. If they fall for it, it's their own fault. But what comes to voice mixing on vent and sending random images is imo taking it too far. that's totally out of game already(no matter if it would be real female). But everyone with their own style. not judging that either.

Funny thing is, my best friend (a married woman) used to play FFXI and she got offers like these from guys -- without even trying. All she had to do was cut a cute line, say "hon" and use plenty of smilies and the weak little boys would give her all the loot she wanted before excusing themselves to the bathroom. She'd tell me that she'd exchange emails with a few of them and suddenly she'd find photos of these 17 year old guys in her inbox.

Oh come one, how hard it is to take advantage of over hormoned teenagers? Im 30, and I say that I would hate to be a teenage guy today. Sex is literally EVERYWHERE, I think if I were a teenage guy today with what is acceptable now a days as opposed to 15 years ago when I was a teenager, my junk would have burst into flames.
It's not hard to take advantage of a weak-willed teen who's too naive to understand the dangers of the internet.
Of the guys that my best friend (the married woman) got to do her dirty work, I couldn't think of a single one who was "normal". All of them knew she was married and 28, and wanted to "meet her" anyway despite not having Mommy's permission.
And that's kind of ironic since, at 26, Myspace didn't really take off until I was about graduated from high school -- these kids have been around all these potentially bad influences for a lot longer. But when you need a friend badly enough, you'll believe what you want.
So no, I don't blame any guy for playing a chick and getting some free stuff from the weak ones. Just don't talk dirty to them... good god lol.
I just think its funny. I think the only people to have a huge prob with it is ones who would get scammed by it and probably need to stop playing computer games and find a real woman lol.
