He didn't drop them off in a specific place. They spread around the world by themselves. He set them free. The world was never flat, the Bible says the world was a circle. This happend thousands of years ago, and the boat was made of wood, it would have deteriorated.

This also has to do with the other Christian religions. In ours, we don't pass around a bucket and make everyone look at you, forcing you to put money in the bucket. You put money if you want. The money doesn't go to the pastor, because we don't have one pastor. The money goes into paying for the building we worship in. To pay electricity, water, stuff like that.

To add to this, don't forget about Saitan. The bible says that SAITAN is the ruler of this world NOT JESUS. And because Saitan is the ruler, he wants and makes people make wrong decisions. He's the one who convinced Adam and Eve from eating the fruit on the tree of knowledge. Who's saying that he can't do it to this day?

Woah, Woah, Woah. Don't get it mixed up now. God did NOT create evil. Based on the Bible, God CREATED Satan. Satan was GOOD. But, he saw how much power God had over humans, and wanted to have that power. At that point, Evil was created. God didn't create evil, Satan did.

According to Jehovah's Witnesses, you are on the right track. We believe that God and Jesus are 2 different people. God created the universe, the Earth, Adam and Eve, AND Jesus. We believe that God is the Father of Jesus, Jesus is (of course) his son, and the Holy Spirit is the active force of God. Well going from the Gurus teachings and Hinduism , it makes the most sense that this earth is a piece of art or more so an on going movie. It has all the layers of expressions that make a piece of artwork complete : disgust , beauty , hate , love , happiness , sadness , health , disease. Basically it is full of dualities , why can't we just have all the good things? Well then I suppose this on going cosmic movie/art of God wouldn't be as interesting. It makes sense to me that it is nothing from than a drama , a play or a movie as the Gurus would say. If we really were hear to learn some great lesson , couldn't it be taught in a more...positive and better way? Why don't we live on the earth forever? Why arn't we immortal? Well obviously man wasn't created to live on such a place of duality for eternity.

And what are we rewarded with for having to participate for a good hundred years without our own will , so we didn't will ourselves to be created on this earth why should we be trapped here? And yet the only way out is through this very painful process called death. How is it fair? Simply put , it isn't. If heaven does exist and it is eternal and is eternal love , peace and joy then that would be a fair reward but the question is why arn't we already there? Why are we here in this body of gross matter as a slave of the sense objects? Do we really reincarnate?

well, we are created out of love.. so we have the freedom to do anything we want basically.. but our true purpose would be to return to our Creator, God.. In order to do so, we have to prove ourselves worthy of being accepted back to his kingdom.. although this depends whether we choose it or not. we have the choice not to believe in God, do drugs, commit adultery etc. or choose the right path.. I'm not being prophetic or anything, just pointing out that anyone can freely choose which path to take and what to believe in or not.. amen!
I think God made it because He wanted to have a place where all His creations could live together in harmony. And, since He didn't exactly want to 'control' whatever He created, He let them do whatever they want to do. God basically gave everything on earth just one important thing - existence. It is the responsibility of each and everyone of us here (living or not) to 'decide' what to do with it. The plants decided to become independent and become helpful to all other living things. Insects helped the plants in their propagation. Animals were a bit selfish and began feeding the plants but was considerate enough to eat more than the plant could give. We humans were the most selfish even if we are supposedly the most gifted - we used up all the resources the world and its creatures can offer and tried to claim it as our own. God sees what we do but is constantly hoping we'll change our ways and do better. I think more and more people are realizing this but there are still a lot who still needs to be guided.

I don't know , I don't lean towards christianty that much ( not saying it's a bad religion or anything ) , some of the teachings are positive but Hinduism seems to make more sense to me. But do you really think we would turn our backs on God? To be in his presence is the most wonderful thing in the universe.
I guess really we will never know his intention of why he created this earth and when we do die and are in his presence we most likely wont even want to know about such things.

According to Jehovah's Witnesses, you are on the right track. We believe that God and Jesus are 2 different people. God created the universe, the Earth, Adam and Eve, AND Jesus. We believe that God is the Father of Jesus, Jesus is (of course) his son, and the Holy Spirit is the active force of God. Therefore, we do not believe in the Trinity, because obviously, we don't believe that God and Jesus are the same person.

Scientific theory conflicts with religion not the belief in God. God is whatever YOU want it to be. Religion simply institutionalizes someones opinion on the matter.
To answer the OP -
What is the "purpose" of the Earth? It is a planet that exist along with many many others in the universe. What is the purpose of any planet? It is all part of a design and unknown to us.
Why did God create it? Why did God create anything at all? It is beyond knowing. God created the cosmos, we are just a very small part of that design on the fringe of one of an unknown number of galaxies in a cosmos of infinate size and possibilities.
God's evil alter-ego, the demiurge created the physical world. Everything in it is evil, brutish and temporal except our spirits that come from the original father of light. Our purpose is to connect with the light again and deny materialism so at death we will ascend back to our original state.
It depends on what you believe in I suppose... it could just all be a coincidence anyway. I don't believe that we'll know one way or another in this lifetime.

God did not put 'evil' in the heart of man. He did, however, give man free will, which ultimately ended up with Eve, then Adam eating from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Since then, the world has never been the same. Humans chooce to be evil everyday, God does not force them too. In fact, He wants and demands the opposite.

This also has to do with the other Christian religions. In ours, we don't pass around a bucket and make everyone look at you, forcing you to put money in the bucket. You put money if you want. well, we are created out of love.. so we have the freedom to do anything we want basically.. but our true purpose would be to return to our Creator, God.. In order to do so, we have to prove ourselves worthy of being accepted back to his kingdom.. although this depends whether we choose it or not. we have the choice not to believe in God, do drugs, commit adultery etc. or choose the right path.. Wow... This is such a deep question.
I think God made it because He wanted to have a place where all His creations could live together in harmony. And, since He didn't exactly want to 'control' whatever He created, He let them do whatever they want to do. God basically gave everything on earth just one important thing - existence. It is the responsibility of each and everyone of us here (living or not) to 'decide' what to do with it. The plants decided to become independent and become helpful to all other living things. Insects helped the plants in their propagation. Animals were a bit selfish and began feeding the plants but was considerate enough to eat more than the plant could give. We humans were the most selfish even if we are supposedly the most gifted - we used up all the resources the world and its creatures can offer and tried to claim it as our own. God sees what we do but is constantly hoping we'll change our ways and do better. I think more and more people are realizing this but there are still a lot who still needs to be guided.
God created earth so that we can all live in harmony. But it is also our responsibility to protect and preserve it so that it will keep on serving its purpose.

I don't know , I don't lean towards christianty that much ( not saying it's a bad religion or anything ) , some of the teachings are positive but Hinduism seems to make more sense to me. I have also experienced way too many things to talk about (the power of God hitting people and throwing them back into walls and stuff). Jesus is everything the Bible says about Him. Go and research it for youself.
Also, about Satan, he is the 'ruler of the air', but he isn't King. JESUS is Ruler over ALL the kings of the earth (Rev 1).

According to your bible that God cannot die or any parts of him .But Jesus as God as you claim did die according to your bible..So tell me ,is Jesus the Son of God or is he really God the Father.Can a Father be his own Son?Then who is the Son?Who is God? John the Apostle gave a very strong warning of those that say other wise..According to John it was Jesus who came in the flesh and not God.Why are you saying other wise?

According to Jehovah's Witnesses, you are on the right track. We believe that God and Jesus are 2 different people. God created the universe, the Earth, Adam and Eve, AND Jesus. We believe that God is the Father of Jesus, Jesus is (of course) his son, and the Holy Spirit is the active force of God. Therefore, we do not believe in the Trinity, because obviously, we don't believe that God and Jesus are the same person.
Mark 10:18 - And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God. Why would he say that about himself? Maybe because he is and god are different people.

Also, Hinduism doesn't make sense when you really look at it. Jesus is one of the gods that you worship in that religion, however, Jesus says there is only ONE God and that ONE God CANNOT lie, so either Jesus is not God (which Hinduism says He is), or Hinduism is wrong, which I believe it is.

Scientific theory conflicts with religion not the belief in God. God is whatever YOU want it to be. Religion simply institutionalizes someones opinion on the matter.
To answer the OP -
What is the "purpose" of the Earth? It is a planet that exist along with many many others in the universe. What is the purpose of any planet? It is all part of a design and unknown to us.
Why did God create it? Why did God create anything at all? It is beyond knowing. God created the cosmos, we are just a very small part of that design on the fringe of one of an unknown number of galaxies in a cosmos of infinate size and possibilities.
God's evil alter-ego, the demiurge created the physical world. Everything in it is evil, brutish and temporal except our spirits that come from the original father of light. Our purpose is to connect with the light again and deny materialism so at death we will ascend back to our original state.
Metaphysics is really easy, but physics isn't. More theists should try the latter in my opinion.
This is a sequence of characters intended to produce some profound mental effect, but it has failed.
It depends on what you believe in I suppose... it could just all be a coincidence anyway. I don't believe that we'll know one way or another in this lifetime.
