Look kids, it's the vapor trolls trying to justify the years of bitching and being wrong about the game that would never release with a self-promotion thread. I guess by the OP's definition of intelligent you need to make baseless arguements trying to evoke strong emotional reactions, then be lucky enough to be correct about a few of your many claims, and then make a "I told you so" post as a sort of literary sleight-of-hand.
Out of the 300 or so testers I know, only about 20 aren't preordering the game. I wanted the game to delay but it's in a far superior state of readiness than most release MMOs. The troll OP doesn't know this though since he hasn't played the game and only cherry picks the negative comments, I'm sure most of which he gathered from beta leakers who are semi-literate.

hahaha whats makes your post useless is that I am a DF troll. I hate the game with a passion....I havent been wrong yet. And if the DF community that will be playing keeps acting this way ill be able to spout a I told you so lol cuz i for one know it will release...what happens after though will be the true test.
"so you mean you and about 12 other people want to play Darkfall while the rest of us know that it wont be released....".

Well despite the other times you have been wrong about DF....there is a quote from your DF trolling that pretty much proves how wrong you are about to be, again.
Something is wrong with you if you want so desperately to be right, and everyone to know you are right. It is a video game, just admit you were wrong.

As you fanbots keep spouting, it's not released yet. That's when the real fireworks are going to begin. Chargebacks from people getting refunds from their credit card companies for false advertisement will be the best of the fireworks.
See, whether or not Aventurine says on their forums or in some obscure place on the internet that their site is terrribly, horrendously outdated, it doesn't matter. When people see the website and say "Oh, I'm so getting this game!" and then they see what they actually paid for, Aventurine is going to be losing money, not making it.

Good thing 90% of the features are there,
and the rest could easily (and most likely will be) be implemented in patches.
Which, by the way, is consistent with every other MMO out there.

Is 90% the only number in your vocabulary? Because i've seen enough reviews and reports to know DF is nowhere near 90% of what it's website says it should be.
and you wanna use other mmos? Cool. AoC lied and didn't have what they said they did. Guess what? they lost over half their customers in the first month. They had 800k to start, so 400k kept them alive. Think DF will survive with less than 5k? LOL

They have one server. And I highly doubt, regardless of what they claim, they will hold all of those concurrently. They haven't even tried to stress test it, and have shown nothing to support their claim of holding more.
So yeah, I consider as of right now 10k to be their cap. They lost alot of what would have been their playerbase already, when they decided no trials. Amazing how lying can drive a good chunk of your playerbase off.

Sorry but unless they really botch up release, that just isnt happening.
The game is as promised and just needs some balancing and polish in certain areas (name a mmo that was perfect at launch? thats right you cant and DF never promised it would be perfect)
Server stability i will agree is the only thing that I cant completely back up based on my beta experience. They have been incredibly stable during beta, but again they havent been full so we will see.
But nothing like AoC is going to happen. This latest patch prelaunch was huge and incredible, and the NDA was dropped, and no one is forced to buy or preorder (yet tens of thousands are trying)

And yes that number is accurate.
Tell me all this again on the 26th.
Tell you what again?
Im agreeing that if they botch up server stability it could be an issue...but they arent going to lose 1/2 their player base because the server wasnt stable on release. That is just wishful troll thinking from a bitter person who wants the game to fali so he can be right.
Cant imagine what you would want me to tell you on the 26th....a lot of the preorders came from beta testers who have obviously played the game and made the decision that its worth thier money.
I have played the game so i know the features are in game, so you cant be talking about that.
The number of preorders? well thats just a fact and way more people want in.
Yea i think you are just running out of material there. Which is great
Some people are saying Darkfall wasn't vaporware because a game called Darkfall is being released right now. I have to point out that they are incorrect, everything that has been revealed by the Darkfall beta has proven that Darkfall was vaporware all along. Say what? Here is why:
The whole idea of vaporware is that the developers are hyping a product that they cannot deliver, and lying about the status of their product. As we now know, this was true all along with Darkfall, they have been making claims about the status and features of the game for several years, and it is clear now that those claims were not true. The game lacks many of the features that were supposed to make it ground breaking, and is in a non-finished state of development. Many features which supposedly exist are "turned off" for mysterious reasons. Basically, it is a game, but it is not the game that was claimed, it is not and was not at the state of development that was claimed. SO WE KNOW NOW FOR A FACT THAT DARKFALL WAS VAPORWARE.
Ever since anyone mentioned vaporware back in 2003 it has always been claimed by "trolls" that one of the most likely scenarios is the Darkfall devs will eventually release whatever twisted, mangled, broken piece of software they have managed to develop and see how many suckers they can get to pay for it before everyone realizes how little the project has delivered. In fact, this is one of the main endgames that happens with vaporware, essentially it is a bait and switch, you promise a revolutionary and amazing product, then eventually release a mediocre product with little resemblance to what you had promised. The promised amazing product was just vaporware, it doesn't mean there is no product at all, but that the product being promised was never going to materialize into reality.
This is exactly what has happened with Darkfall and why it was vaporware. Aventurine is releasing a game, but it is not the product that was promised, not in the state of development that was claimed, and pretty much every review you can read will tell you this, even many reviews that claim to be fans of the game are warning people it is not the game they were expecting and it has many problems.
So, yes, nearly everything the "trolls" said has been proven true. The speculation that Aventurine weren't even trying to make a game was incorrect, but the fact they were not being honest about the features and state of development of their project is obviously true.
I can sum it all up in a simple to understand image:
We told you so. Actually, Adventurine started developing a game of some sort in RESPONSE to vaporware claims in early 2008. This will explain why this game is a steaming pile of crap that feels like it's only been in development for a few months.

"so you mean you and about 12 other people want to play Darkfall while the rest of us know that it wont be released....".
I havent been wrong yet. And if the DF community that will be playing keeps acting this way ill be able to spout a I told you so lol cuz i for one know it will release...what happens after though will be the true test.

LOL
Sad to see that you have slipped into trolling zorvan. I have lurked here for awhile but you use to be pretty even and objective.

We told you so. Actually, Adventurine started developing a game of some sort in RESPONSE to vaporware claims in early 2008. This will explain why this game is a steaming pile of crap that feels like it's only been in development for a few months.
